Recently, eBay had proposed some changes to their Star Wars auction format,
which included the subcategories of "Darth Mal" and one "Jabba
the Hut". Needless to say, it's a damn good thing they wisened up.
The feedback regarding the new format was overwhelming, and at times a little
pushy, but of course, all for the greater good.
eBay mailed me, as well as others that participated in the evaluation, to say
this:
"By August 20, the recent category changes that we previewed with the
community will go live. We have reviewed your suggestions and submitted a new
category structure under Action Figures > Star Wars. By September 17, the new
category changes will go live!"
Without further adieu, I present to you the new eBay Star Wars

That said, eBay will be holding a workshop, found at
http://forums.ebay.com/db2/forum.jsp?forum=93,
from 12:30 - 1:30 (PST) to discuss changes, further critiques, and anything else
pertaining to the new format.
eBay has done a fantastic job with this new layout and is sure to
better service both Vintage and Modern collectors alike.
As I said before, there really are no cons to this weeks topic, other than they
forgot to add the original Power of the Force line to the Vintage category, and
rename POTF to POTF2 in Modern. But hey, nobody's perfect!
Until next week!
