New Server Installed

We are happy to be able to announce that the new server has been installed and JediDefender.com is now running on our brand new machines. The recent down time has been eliminated, along with the slow loading of pages from time to time. This was in no way the fault of us at JediDefender, but the data center and server we were on had problems that were internal and could only be dealt with by someone working on the machines "locally".

It may take up to 24 hours for our IP address to route to our domain name, thus some readers/users may not be able to log on the site site while others can. Along with this, some aspects of the site may look strange but as I said, everything will be back to normal within 24 hours. I want to personally thank you for your patience with us during this most frustrating time, our readers are the best!

So a Wookiee Walks Into a Bar...

Pardon the title, but a fellow JediDefender Staffer already laid claim to my New Kids on the Block reference.

Having recently been recruited to the JediDefender team, I will be assisting in bringing you all of the latest and greatest Star Wars news and hopefully some really choice photography as well. You will probably recognize me as BigDumbWookiee of the Star Wars collecting communities, but what you may not know is that I was born under the name Adam Lowe. I am a die hard Star Wars fan and collector at heart, and will go to no ends to feed my Star Wars addiction. Hopefully my passion for all things Star Wars can flow into my work here at JediDefender!

He’s Supergeek, Supergeek, he’s Supergeeky…. Yeow…..
