StarWars.com Presents..."Hyperspace"
The Official Site debuted the trailer for their new "Pay to Play" service today, entitled "Hyperspace"!
"Hyperspace" is basically a pay service through StarWars.com that grants subscribers access to exclusive online material such as deleted scenes, behind the scenes access, and lots of other extras from the Star Wars Saga. An exciting, free preview will be running on the official site from June 5th through the 9th, with the pay service debuting on June 10th.

2003 TRU Exclusives: 4-Packs
  
Hasbro updates this morning with details on Toys R Us' 2003 exclusives, the four packs. Hitting the shelves now is the Imperial Set seen above and coming later this year is a Bounty Hunter set with Aurra Sing (with her Swoop Bike), IG-88, Bossk and Boba Fett. And completing the series is the Hoth Set seen above with Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia (a resculpted Hoth version), Chewbacca (Cloud City with snow detail) and an astromech droid, R3-A2.

Re-Release Leia Carded Shots

As rumored, it appears that the upcoming Clonetrooper 3-pack will indeed be coming in different flavors other than just plain vanilla. If you check out the Kebco news posted by Chris, you'll notice 2 new figures listed in the feed, Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader from A New Hope. Star Tours Wave 3; Images Available
 
The Star Tours Wave 3 figures including G2-9T and R5-D2 have surfaced on eBay and it is apparent that Disney has started selling these. We have had mixed reports, but I believe it is worth a shot to call Disney World and try to order your figures before resorting to purchasing at an auction. Hey There Yinz Guys!
Hey all you loyal readers and fans... I'm the infamous Jesse James (McCracken). I go by many monikers though, such as "The Scourge of Hasbro", "The Deflater of Action Poses", or even "The Proponent of Articulation". Eh, sometimes I just go by Furious George too, but that's another story.
I'm one of the new staff here at JediDefender.com, and I'm tasked with the honorable duty of tearing apart Hasbro's Star Wars figures when they are found lacking, and building them up when they are deemed worthy of praise. My job in a nutshell is the site's Toy Reviewer... oh, and the odd news post here and there as well.
I'm looking forward to working for the site, working with Chris and the gang, and working to give you comprehensive and honest reviews in my as-of-yet-named Toy Review column.

New Star Wars First Person Shooter?
Lucas Arts made a press release today revealing their new game "Star Wars: Republic Commando", set in the era of the Clone Wars. The game is set to utilize the Unreal Tournament Engine and is to look and feel "dark and realistic".

One Down, One to Go!
LFL announced today that everyone's favorite swashbuckling archaeologist will be making his way into your living room via DVD's this November! All 3 Indy movies will be released in a box set, and included is a neat little 4th disc full of behind the scenes looks at the making of the trilogy.
While not really a Star Wars story, there are plenty of connections and in-jokes in the Indy movies which pertain to Star Wars and... It means that everyone's favorite movie trilogy jumps one step higher on LFL's DVD priority list. Hopefully soon, so stay tuned!

The Official Site recently updated with an awesome new story on that wacky Star Wars bar in a galaxy far, far away. Insiders combed through the LFL production files and have some pretty detailed listings for most of the cool aliens shown in the Cantina.
