Target Order 66 Discounts Continue

Target stores across the country are going into super clearance mode on the Order 66 2-packs. Look for a super low price of $2.48 on these sets now, probably the lowest you'll see, as they are bound to sell out! Reports are coming in though that many areas still had dozens of these sets left on the shelves, so you may find lots to pick from!

Hasbro Suspends Discounted On-Line McLuke Orders

Two HasbroToyShop reps at C4 told me this afternoon that they were going to suspend all online orders placed for the McQuarrie Luke figures, if the 25% off coupon code was used. According to them, this was an egregious error to have not blocked that coupon code for this item, as it shouldn't apply to convention exclusives. They said they would contact everyone via e-mail to let them know the McLukes would actually cost $14.99, like at C4, and to see if they wanted to keep their orders at that price (and presumably with regular shipping costs added back too). Sorry folks!

Celebration IV Update: Titanium Ship News!

Hey folks, more word from the convention floor keeps trickling in. Our guys in the field have reported back that the "concerns" over the ridiculous number of repaints in the 3" Titanium Vehicles line have been noted by Hasbro! The Hasbro gang said you can expect to see new waves consisting of far more all-new vehicles from the films, as well as a trip into the Expanded Universe. But these likely won't trickle out until the beginning of 2008, so please try to be patient 'til then. Good news for fans of one of Hasbro's hottest sub-lines!

More Ice Cream Maker Guy Controversy

A great disturbance in the Force has been brewing over Wilrow Hood, the infamous Bespin Ice Cream Maker Guy, out at Celebration IV. Hasbro's apparently got some dissension among the ranks over Scott's pet project! After conflicting reports in the C4 news, our man Matt confronted the Hasbro gang on the issue, and was priveleged to observe them "excitedly disagree" for several minutes as to whether this figure will be carded, or kitbashed into a Battle Pack (hopefully Derryl wins). Only time will tell, and that time will probably be around 2009. Congrats OCB, for causing such a controversy!

More Star Wars Movies Rumored

An Australian Newspaper is reporting that a big rumor is swirling around Celebration IV regarding Lucas making a major announcement. The rumor is new movies, set before the prequals during the days of the Old Republic. This is purely rumor at this point, and Lucas has repeatedly denied any films are going to be made for the Star Wars Universe, however the flanneled one seems to always have a trick up his sleeve to keep Star Wars in the public spotlight!
