Wave 11 and 11.5 Up for Preorder at EE
Two new OTC cases Wave 11 and Wave 11.5 are now up for preorder at JD Sponsor Entertainment Earth. Both cases contain the hard to find Endor Wave (Han, Madine and Lando). These will also be the final assortments of the Original Trilogy Collection and are set for release in September.

New Hasbro TIE Fighter
Somewhat lost in the shuffle of the Comic Con hoopla was a tidbit passed along to man on the street Matt Colman. Hasbro is hard at work on a properly scaled TIE Fighter and will probably get it to market sometime in 2006. The progress on this new vehicle has been slow due to budget constraints but it is progressing a little at a time! Good news for vehicle fans who have been fed up with Undersized vehicles for some time.

Real Action Hero Luke Skywalker
  
Medicom has released more details and a ton more pictures of their upcoming Real Action Hero Jedi Luke Skywalker. It appears to have a December 2004 release date and will stand 300 mm (12") Luke will come with his outer cloak and lightsaber and looks to be fully articulated. Here's hoping they continue with making Star Wars RAH, this first step looks wonderful!

San Diego Comic Con Lucasfilm Presentation
Reporter on hand, Matt Colman has just called in news from the 2-hour Lucasfilm Star Wars presentation. Aside from the aforementioned Ep. 3 title being debuted, also shown (above) is what Hasbro has in store for us in regards to the final packaging scheme for Ep. 3 carded figures. Appearing on the presentation's panel were Steve Sansweet, Rick McCallum, Carrie Fisher, and Hayden Christensen. Big DVD news was announced (beyond the obvious OT), with the Droids and Ewoks cartoon series and both Ewok movies coming to DVD just in time for Christmas, followed soon thereafter by the Animated Clone Wars season 1 & 2!
The first Episode III trailer will be released in November. Also, the Wookiee planet of Kashyyyk was highlighted through numerous art work slides of this new "tropical" planet. Several LucasArts video games were also showcased, including a clip of an Ewok getting blasted to smithereens, which garnered HUGE applause from the audience. This just in folks: Episode III's title was officially revealed today in a special Star Wars presentation at San Diego's Comic-Con International! The third and final chapter of the Saga will be titled Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith!

Droids Boba Fett Kubrick Details
Medicom has released the details on the upcoming Droids Carded Fett. It will be limited to 2004 pieces and available at the Wonder Festival on August 29th. It appears that 500 will be at the show and 1504 available through the Medicom Collector Club.

Hasbro unveils the final carded shots of C-3PO at their site today. Looks like he'll be articulated at the shoulders, waist and hips only. Notice that the card is from the short run of C-3PO figures that appeared on ESB cards before the Removable Limbs 3PO was released.

12" VOTC Is Out!
Our pal jjks comes through once again, with the latest and greatest score on the block! This time, Jamie's the first to stumble upon the new VOTC 12" figures, for $30 a pop at K-Mart. He reports that there were three each of Luke and Boba Fett, but NO Stormtroopers to be found. Unfortunately, it looks like Hasbro reverted BACK to the blue Fett jumpsuit again (unless the grey version is going to be another upcoming running production change). So you 12" collectors out there better keep your eyes peeled for these. Happy hunting JD'ers!

This weekend, I picked up the latest issue of Interview, featuring a cover photo and full interview with Star Wars: Episode 3's Natalie Portman (Senator Amidala)! Galactic Heroes Wave 1... Out Now!
Reports are coming in from JD.com readers that the first wave of Playskool's Galactic Heroes are being found at retail ($5.50 each)! So far, the Han/Leia, Ben/Vader, and Luke/R2 sets have been found, but the Chewie/3PO set seems to be missing. Star Tours Wave 4?
Seller hotreals has put up for bid some finished looking product what appears to be Wave 4 of the semi-popular Star Tours line. These three droids would be available at Disney Theme parks in the United States. Hasbro has not confirmed these yet so don't get those hopes up just yet.
