Sideshow Military Line Images
Over at Sideshowcollectors.com, pictures of the briefly mentioned "military" line of 12" figures from Sideshow have finally surfaced. The first set up for grabs will be three distinct Endor Rebel Soldiers set to ship in 2007 at one-per-month. The scan also indicates a $59.99 price, so this is some expensive (but impressive looking) army building.

Forces Of Corruption Update
Lego Star Wars isn't the only video game news to talk about these days. Gamespot.com has a new preview of the upcoming expansion for Empire At War titled EAW: Forces of Corruption. The update includes a change of name for the faction you play as (changed from simply "Underworld" to now the "Zann Consortium" after the main crime lord in the game, Tyber Zann).
You will want to read up on all the great new layers to this new faction though, and how they strategically impact the original version of the game. The criminal element has some powerful tricks up their sleaves to deal with the Alliance and Empire on their own terms.

Let R2 Take Care of Your Trash
The Japanese seem to have a knack for designing unique Star Wars items, and the R2-D2 Trash Can is no exception. As shown in the image above, his head opens up to reveal a garbage can for disposing your galactic garbage. This will be released in Japan at the end of the year and is expected to retail for around 14,000 yen or approximately $120US.
