Clone Wars San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive Trooper?
 
An anonymous source dropped us a couple carded photos of the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con Exclusive, Star Wars Shop Clone Senate Security Trooper. Basically the precursor to shocktroopers, rather than an actual regular Clone Captain. Click the thumbnails above to check him out.
We confirmed this figure in Hasbro's Q&A with us last week actually. The only differences appear to be a small logo for the Republic on his shoulders, and perhaps a little different deco on the helmet face. Stay tuned for more details on this exclusive and pricing in the near future!
The cardback's text reads:
These elite and highly skilled clone troopers are under the command of Commander Thire. They are assigned diplomatic and escort duty for high ranking officials in the Senate. In the Clone Wars they also defend the capital from Separatist attacks.
Now the question remains; is there a regular Clone Captain on the way? There haven't been early photos of one so far, but one could only assume all the regular Clone rank colors will be done at some point.
