Well I decided to get some epoxy and well CAN i touch it the warnings.......also 5 minute cure but I minute work time???
HELP PLEASE

Ummmmm.... OK?
What exactly is your question?

I've only recently tried to ude it.
Yes they do scare you with the warnings.
You do need to be fast with this stuff. Really fast. I would try sculpting little areas at a time, not a large piece.

Um..."can you touch it"? I wouldn't. The warnings are pretty clear that if you get it on your skin you should wash your hands immediately. It also stinks like these nuts. I use latex examination gloves. Also, I only do casting with plumber's epoxy putty, if you're going to do sculpting, use Sculpy, you have infinite working time then. If you try to sculpt epoxy putty, you only have 2-3 minutes from the time you mix the base and catalyst.

I just stick away from sculpting for the most part... not a big fan of sculpy (because I'm not good at it) - tried epoxy once and about went nuts, but the plumber's epoxy seems to be ok at filling in gaps on figures, and sculptng if you're quick enough.
:P

I recommend Games Workshop's "Green Stuff" 2-part putty. It cures in 24 hours and you can work on it for about an hour (most malleable in the first 15 mins though). I love this stuff and since I've started using it, I haven't touched my Sculpey clay. I don't mind the relatively quick worktimes (most of my customs are relative "quickies"), although "Green Stuff" is pretty sticky and it might take some getting used to. It is not necessarily a complete substitute for Sculpey, but I like it for it's durability and air-drying qualities.
