Timothy Zahn, very cool.  I always wanted to meet him since he's by far my favourite SW author.

Anyone going to the 2008 F/X Show in Orlando, FL? I'm hearing that it's going to be an extremely good show in January. They've got one heck of a line up for guests and there's supposed to be a whole lot more tables then there was this year. There is a large group of us that will be going between various forums as well as several members from the Tampa Star Wars Collectors Club. Timothy Zahn and Peter Mayhew almost always make it out for this show, so I'm surprised to not see them on the list, although they could always be added at a later date.

Official Website (http://www.fxshow.com)

Here's a run down of the guests they've got so far:

Nicholas Brendon - Nicholas is best known for his role as 'Xander Harris' on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He has appeared in several other movies and television series, including "Psycho Beach Party", "Kitchen Confidential" and will be appearing in 2 films to be released in 2008. He was also the honorary chairperson for the Stuttering Foundation of America from 2001-2003 and continues to raise money for the organization.

Erik Estrada - Best known for his role as 'Ponch' on the TV series "CHiPs", Erik has appeared in dozens of movies and made guest appearances on many TV shows, often appearing as himself, including "The Surreal Life" and "Armed & Famous". Additionally, he gave his voice to the character 'Marco Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar Gabriel Garcia Marquez' on Adult Swim's "Sealab 2021".

Greg Grunberg (appearing Saturday only) - Greg currently appears as 'Officer Matt Parkman' on "Heroes" but is also well known for playing CIA agent 'Eric Weiss' on "Alias" and 'Sean Blumberg' on "Felicity". Greg has appeared in such films as "Hollowman" and "Mission Impossible: III". He is active in helping raise money for the Pediatric Epilepsy Project, as his oldest son suffers from epilepsy.

Jake Lloyd - Jake is most widely recognized for his role as the young 'Anakin Skywalker' in "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace". He also appeared in the films "Jingle All The Way" and "Unhook the Stars". Now a college freshman, Jake is reportedly studying Film and Video. He is the only American actor to have ever played the role of Anakin.

Jason Mewes - Jason is most recognized for his recurring role as 'Jay' to Kevin Smith's 'Silent Bob' in "Clerks", "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy", "Dogma", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" and most recently "Clerks II". He has appeared in several other non-Kevin Smith films as well, including "The Tripper" and has reportedly stated that his dream is to appear as a superhero in a film.

Ellen Muth - Ellen is an American film and television actress, best known for her role as 'George Lass' on Showtime's short-lived series "Dead Like Me". Her awards include Best Actress at the AFI for "The Young Girl and the Monsoon" and Best Supporting Actress at the Japanese Film Festival for "Dolores Claiborne" in which she made her screen debut.

Elisabeth Rohm - Elisabeth is most recognized for her role as 'Assistant District Attorney Serena Southerlyn' on "Law & Order" from 2001-2005. Just bumping this in case anyone in Florida missed it. This should be a great show this year.

Hopefully they'll have more food available this year too! It was kind of limited to just a few vendors last year, so there were some long lines to wait in when trying to eat. I think we're just going to leave for lunch this time.

A group of us from the Tampa Star Wars Collector's Club are going to the F/X Show in Orlando this Saturday. If anyone needs a ride from the Tampa, FL area, I have access to a large 12 passenger van. Just let me know by Thursday at the latest if you want to go.

Your killing me....we won't be in Orlando until March.  I would have loved to go to that (of course, I can't speak for the rest of the family  ;)).  Did you grab any autographs??

No, I'm not really an autograph kind of guy. I got Carrie's and Anthony's at Celebration IV just so I could meet them, but I would have loved to just walk up to them and save my $70.00 and just shake their hand and said hey...nice to meet you! I talked to Jake in L.A. as well as Ray and Orli and I've met countless others with some great conversations.
