Title: Anyone here into Republic or Empire?

i know i am.
have nearly every issue of ongoing, then all for republic and empire.

lets get some conversation going.

so what do y'all think of durge and thigns liek that. or the clone wars stories in general?

i liek how they put the senate guard fromt he first republic into the latest republic issues. they are always tying things in that way.

I love the way Republic is heading. Waiting for issues to come is the bad part. Im impaitent that way. I love them putting Quinlan Vos into the mix more now than they have.

I'm just starting to get my feet wet with the comics, as I only have Aurra Sing and Open Seasons TPB's.  Empire and Republic are definitely ones I'm interested in getting next.  I've heard nothing but good things about these.

The Clone Wars Republic issues and one shots are top notch.  The Empire series has been hit or miss.

Empire had some nice art, at least the few I've flipped through have.

I don't know what the storyline is...

I did however enjoy looking at it, and felt they were definately pulling from the military aspects of EU and trying some cohesive and logical designs in the art.  Things like "Field" stormtroopers further dispelling the "Sandtrooper" myth and such...  

I've gotten out of the Comic book racket though, and just am looking to sell my collection now instead of creating a new monster, haha. :)  Finding someone to buy a BUNCH of comics at once is a tough chore though.

i got Republic 54 Today.
another Vos story.
its filled with several  double crosses and soekm battle. very cool. YOU ALL NEED TO READ IT. lol

I've never sold on Ebay actually, just bought some.

I'd like to get back their cover prices though, and I just don't know that would happen on Ebay...  Then I'd just have a listing fee to pay. :)

I used to buy so many of the comics, but since the comic shop died out here I just don't collect them anymore.  Oddly enough my local grocery store gets them in regularly if I wanted to pick up the habit again. :)

The comic "Jedi: Count Dooku" Is really cool. If your a Quin fan. Which I am. I read the Republic comics. I'm mad because Repblics 72-77 have slipped by me! :P
