Title: Theta 288 Custom
Post by: Theta 288 on October 7, 2008, 04:44 PM
I did not make a major custom job, I just changed his  unarticulated legs for those clone ones, so he can bend etc.

Too many people complain about the RC Squad legs.

Later I will custom his head & make the scars on his face + the damage helmet, so it would be the real RC Theta 288

Cool! Looks Good, i hope we get some more republic commandos this next year, or at least some badly needed articulation. It's a great figure, just wished the arms and knees moved a lil' better.
Keep up the good work Theta.

That custom looks great so far! I remember that comic being a good read. Looking forward to seeing what else you do with this figure! :)

I've been wanting to do the same thing. How do the parts fit together?

Yes PLEASE share how you switched the legs. Boil and pop doesn't seem to work for me on the legs. If it did for you, please explain the process thoroughly. If you didn't use that method, then please explain the method you did use for switching the legs.

Pics would be very helpful, but if you don't have them, then a good detailed explanation would be great.

Thanks.

Excellent custom, btw.

Hi all & thanks for your kind feedback.

@ To Jedi_Master

Yes I use that method of "Boil and pop"  , it was a bit hard, that I almost giving up in the process.

When I have time, I can show u how I did it. or perhaps you will figure out.
