Seen all the other toy lines and thought about putting in the new Gears of War figures. These look pretty cool and i was wondering what you all think.

Also if you noticed in the series 1 box set the locust drone comes with the hammer of dawn and the locust helmet which is only available in that box set. As for the series 2 box set extras i have yet to spot any.

I was really close to picking up Marcus and Cole the other day. The articulation looked like it a little sparse, but they really are some nice looking figures.

I think I'll probably pick them up at some point... This looks to be a line where I could just nab a few main characters and I'd be happy.

Same here the articulation isn't great on them but if you can find the series 2 Marcus with added articulation pick him up bc you can do some pretty sweet poses with him.

The exploding head figure is awesome. I thought about picking one of those up.

They're great looking figures but like most of NECA's stuff their articulation is a hindrance.  I bought some of Series 1 to photograph for our Toy Database (pics here for anyone interested (http://www.toytraderz.com/toyandfiguredatabase/v/N-R/Player+Select/Gears+of+War/Series+1/)) and was pretty impressed.  Awesome paint and detail.

I noticed series 3 (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=nec11024&mode=retail) at BBTS yesterday.

Saw Series 2 today. They look very nice. Probably will pick up Marcus.
