I may need that... I'm currently trying to figure out how to get .mp3's off my PC and onto my friggin' phone. I'd like to set an .mp3 as my alert for a text message... I got this thing on the 28th and I'm still figuring out how to do most stuff with it.
I hadn't updated my phone for at least 5 years, and they honestly laughed at me when they saw my plan and realized it wasn't even in their system anymore. I've made a quantum leap in phones, and now I feel like I should live in a retirement community. This phone makes me feel dumb, quite simply.

I friggin' love mine. Google maps + GPS is great, email and facebook, pretty much the whole webbernet in my pocket....lurve it.
Have you installed the Desktop Manager software on your PC yet? If you haven't, do it. Connect your Blackberry and go to Media Manager. Select your MP3, or photo or whatever from the top window and select the appropriate folder (music for mp3's) on the bottom window and click "Copy Down". Easy as that.

I have the 8310 curve, so I'm assuming that this advice will translate over to yours...

I don't know if you are using iTunes to manage your music, but if you are, then you may have to convert your iTunes music to MP3. iTunes uses a different format. I had to do that to get some songs onto another MP3 player my son had.

I got a Storm right after Christmas because, well, I could basically get it for $100... I had no legitimate reason otherwise. I'll check into your advice asap and see what I can get done.
My music's in .mp3 on both the PC and Blackberry so I don't think I need to change anything, just transfer it from one to another. Every step I take leads me into a new question with it though, so it's been a bit of a frustrating process.
