Title: Good places to go in HK to buy figures
Post by: kaysui0248 on August 31, 2009, 04:43 AM
On my annual holiday in Hong Kong and have found it very difficult in locating any kubrick/bearbricks here

Been to the local places where they sell vinyal figures out here (gundam, ultraman, chinese+japanese version of power rangers, gashapon, UFO catcher prizze goods etc etc)

Mong Kok
CTMA centre, Animate, 111 Richmond centre, sino centre, In's point, UML Hobby

Wan Chai
Oriential 188

Causeway bay
ToyZone (Causeway Bay Commercial Building), Causeway Bay Centre

Anyone else know of a good place to buy kubrick figures?

Most of the kubrick collectors are now either directly pre-order from shop or purchase from the internet. (yahoo auction of HK). So, you won't be seeing much from toy shops here

I did notice that evilalive, as all the toy shops on the shop door frame/window had pre-order list of up and coming figures you could order (doraemon, gundam, 2pcs R2-D2 & C3PO kubrick, lego etc etc)

Well I did manged to find some gear out here and bag myself some bargins (12pcs Boba Fett box) and take a few photos of a shop I did find that sold only medicom kubrick/bearbrick toys

Happy to know you're managed to get some bargains with Boba Fetts release. ;)
