Looks good. I'm down for the bounty hunter, but will be passing on the table. Hopefully the price isn't up there with the troopers, Vader and the like and is priced more like the Imperial officers, Lando, etc.

Hmmmmmmmm. I saw this one in the newsletter this week. He looks good but I'm not sure if I'm going to pre-order or not. I'm not going to be around when the priority pre-order comes around next week.

As cool as it is I probably won't order it. I would love to but I am sure they will charge $150 for both Greedo and the little table at least. Unfortunately with SS prices I need have to cut back to just figures I absolutely go nutty for. Now if they ever release Hammerhead then I'll be all over that one. For now I will just need to settle for the Hasbro Greedo.

Priority Pre-Orders Begin this Friday
Newsletter subscribers who qualify will be given an opportunity to 'Priority Pre-Order' (1) Exclusive Greedo 12 inch Figure and (2) Mos Eisley Cantina 1:6 Scale Environments, on Friday, February 19th, 2010, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM (Pacific Time). The Exclusive edition of the Greedo Figure will be priced at $94.99 USD, while the Cantina Environment will be priced at $89.99. Additionally, a regular edition of Greedo, priced at $89.99 will be offered AFTER the Exclusive edition sells through. This two hour Pre-Order window is only available to 'Priority Pre-Order' members, but if any items remain available to purchase after this member Pre-Order window, then these will be offered to the general public.

Now we're looking at $95?!

I'm with you. I love these figs and have 20-30 of the earlier releases, but I just can't justify paying essentially twice what I used to on these. The chairs and table accessory is terrific, but I'm not sure I'd buy it even at $50.

I'd love to have the Cantina accessories myself, but I think ultimately they could be customized cheaply as they are fairly simple shapes.

This is a line I really wanted to collect from the beginning (only have Bespin Han, Smuggler Han, and Princess Leia), but I couldn't keep up price-wise (while still collecting anything else) - and man I could never keep up now. Hard to believe Greedo is going to run $90-95. I realize there is probably more tooling, etc. going into an all new alien like this, but sheesh. The figures still look great though (and environment pieces, even if over priced), and part of me wishes I could have afforded to keep up with the OT releases. I had even hoped to get just a small collection of the main characters (Luke, Obi-Wan, Han, Leia, Chewie, Vader, 3PO/R2, Stormtrooper, etc.)...but even that was a bit much. I may bite if/when they get to Chewie, but I'm sure that will be crazy expensive. I think I'd literally have to collect only these and nothing else to keep up with this line. How many do they put out in a given year these days? Back on topic though, the Greedo does look nicely done - maybe not $95 nice, but nice.

At one point i was buying them all too but that stopped quickly. I passed on Greedo and the chairs. I have become very picky on which i get.

I skipped the environment and the exclusive version and just went for the regular edition.

I pre-ordered the Greedo but will cancel it at the last minute when I come to my senses and realize these are often available at about $60 tops from places like GoHastings.

nice GREEDO, his head like a tapir giraffe, the boots over pants, the belt and the holster for realistic looking.
