Title: Repaint of Graxol Kelvyyn?
Post by: Phrubruh on October 31, 2011, 09:35 PM
Did Hasbro ever repainted Graxol Kelvyyn to make Horox Ryyder?

The head looked like this:

He's one of those weird figures, especially with his ultimate awesomeness, that just never has been around a lot.  That set was hard to get, even after E1 crap that was hard to get became less hard to get.  It had one of the more arguably interesting E1 characters in it (in terms of obscurity and an actually cool looking design).  It's never seen any re-issue.

Be nice to see Graxol resurface, and even see his senator counterpart made out of his parts and a little tweak here or there.

Agreed, he's a great scene filler. I'd love to have one for my Senate shelf.

I actually wound up picking up several Watto's Box cinema scenes when they got clearanced.  And it was primarily because Graxol Kelvyyn was such an awesome figure.  I always thought that this figure could have been re-purposed for a comic 2-pack to depict the Anx Jedi padawan, Theen Fida (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Theen_Fida), from JEDI COUNCIL - ACTS OF WAR.  But the figure might have proved to be too tall for a comic 2-pack's packaging.
