For the last couple of years we ran an informal poll with your 10 most wanted characters from the current Star Wars Films. Continuing the tradition and trying to finish up before Comic Con 2012, I thought it would be a good time to revisit those lists. Here's how it works: You send your Wish List for 10 3 3/4" Figures to me or post them here, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes. After four weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie. The first Prequel Episode I: The Phantom Menace is now up. I was just thinking about this today while redoing the "prequel" case of figures and re-arranging them by movie. Even though we had that big push for TPM in 1999, I think I actually have the fewest figures from that movie of the entire saga. Looking through them, I think the majority of what I'd like to see are resculpts. Not that those figures are terrible, but things have come quite a ways since then. For me:

I'm a little surprised about the 4 resculpt requests. I would've thought that some of the Jedi resculpt requests might have ranked higher.

I'm not...they made nice figures of Agen Kolar and Stass Allie not too long ago, other than names they fit the bill for a lot of people, just my two cents

Got 3 and I'm ok with that... The surprise, to me anyway, is no Purple Padme on the list... She got a new figure this year, sure, but it sucks. Likewise no little Ani SA figure. Little bummed on some of those types of figures not making it since they need definitives regardless of what new figures they got this year.

My wish is that they never produce another single carded figure for retail from this movie. If they do, they should lie about the movie title to see if it is slightly less poisonous if it is labeled as just "Star Wars." And release it in November when people shopping for kids who don't know the difference between a Jawa and a Jabba will buy them for gifts.
