what would it be?

hmmm...man that is tough, I guess the easy one would be hate...no more bigots, racists, gay bashing, politics :), etc...no more war, peace on earth good will toward men.
The other one is competition...it exists on every level of human life, from the minute you are born you are compared to other babies (size, weight, intellegnce) and that continues forever...it fuels a lot of the problems in the world, resources, money, greed...on its very basic level it isn't all bad, the drive to get better, the evolution of human thought are usually the result of the drive to be better than the next person or group or nation. The negatives I think outweigh some of those positives

Put "humanity" back into humanity.

Ugh. One thing? I guess in order to cover most of what Scott appropriately mentioned, it might best be summed up in changing people to be more tolerant of and respectful towards all others. If folks could just do that, I think that many/most of the world's problems would likely disappear. Of course that'll never happen, but we can dream, can't we?! ;)

The list could go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on... ok thats enough joking around.
If I could change one thing in humanity, it would be ignorance.

I'd do away with bigotry, intolerance, and competition. And get rid of crime too.
