Wowza that Wampa looks huge! Can't wait for that one!

Looks awesome. Count me in for this one.
-
I'm surprised they're going so big with this line so quickly... I mean, there's only about 15 figures in existence but they've done Jabba, a Speeder Bike, and now these.
But hey... looks awesome.
-
This does look nice... gonna be hard to keep resisting this line
-
The Wampa does look pretty amazing, as does Luke. Cool set, can't wait to get this one too. As much as I like the past Ultra line Wampa (the last one we got), it does make me wonder what a new 3 3/4" scale one would look like at this point.
-
Love both the new deluxe sets.
I wonder if/hope clean face Luke and his Taun Taun are slated for later, since they do love reusing parts.

What a silly question! Of course they're coming... in the wave after this one. ;)

Up for pre-order at EE - Star Wars The Black Series Hoth Luke Skywalker 6-Inch Action Figure with Wampa - $39.99 (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HSA8725&id=JE-405087801)
Looks like the case is 2x Luke/Wampa, 1x Han/Tauntaun.
Also up for pre-order at BBTS for a bit more - Star Wars Deluxe 6" Black Series 03 - Luke Skywalker With Wampa - $44.99 (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=HAS24414&mode=retail)
-
Are these still going to be $24.99
when if they hit Target?
-
Target currently has the Tauntaun and Han (http://www.target.com/p/star-wars-the-black-series-han-solo-and-tauntaun-figures/-/A-16573747#prodSlot=medium_1_1&term=tauntaun) set listed at $34.99
-
I love how Target lists this item. Can't order it online. It doesn't exist in a store. If you use the store pickup option the DPCI # is the same as Jabba and Scout Trooper, so you'll just get a Jabba when you show up.

That Wompa looks a lot like the Ultra series one from a few years ago just bigger.

My thoughts precisely.

How close is the scale on that old Ultra Wampa? I'm wondering if buying a 6" one and putting it in the 3 3/4" display might be a good idea, if it's not wildly inaccurate to go with a larger one.
-
Depends how accurate you want things to be I guess, but a 6" Wampa would be significantly larger in such a small scale than a 4" Wampa... When you get into scale at that size, small things make big differences. Like speederbikes, or snowspeeders, for instance. Some folks didn't mind the vintage molds on those, but the reality, especially to people who pay close attention to scale, is that they were grossly oversized.
The Wampa would be kind of a similar thing. Some people may not care, but if scale matters to you, it'll be noticeable.
-
So stick with the regular one is what your saying? I was only wondering about it on the off chance that the 3 3/4" one was undersized.
-
So has anyone gotten this set yet? I'm curious to see if the production version of the Wampa has the horns painted correctly.
-
I got mine from HTS and I think it is fabulous. The Wampa is freaking heavy! They really went the extra mile IMO.
The horns are grey and match the lips and eyelids. Not sure if that is screen accurate or not but seems fine to me.

+1.
Love the Wampa. Maybe they could have done the blood a little better, but overall this is a nice toy. Very surprised at the weight.
