Anyone following this arc that just concluded? So weird after all these year getting new stories that are "real" / canon.
Spoiler for the last issue.... Han has a wife? Sana Solo?? What the actual ****?

Now that everything from now on is canon. It seems Han was married during the events of ANH.

This HAS to be some stupid way to get cheap sales with a bunch of "Han has a wife, CHECK IT OUT!" hype. Nothing more than a simple cliffhanger, I hope. You'd think Han would have a woman on every planet. :P

Sure, why not. Marriage laws would be different on each planet in the Empire. Different species would have different relationship rules. Why would the empire put a ban on polygamy and enforce it through the entire galaxy? I doubt the Empire would ban same sex marriage or really any kind of union at all. It would probably be left open to local government to enforce locally but off planet, the Empire would recognize anything.
