Let's start with Jake Lloyd! (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3133544/Retired-child-actor-played-Anakin-Skywalker-Star-Wars-Phantom-Menace-arrested-car-chase-ended-plowed-vehicle-tree.html)

Eesh...Charleston is one place you probably don't want to be screwing around in right now.

Obvious jokes:
Now THAT'S pod racing!
The force wasn't strong with him.
Jedi mind trick didn't work on the cops.
His lawyer told him "Sebulba sabotaged me" won't be a very good defense.
Wizard!

Just seemed odd. Let's report about Jake's run-in with the law... oh, I guess that doesn't get much news so let's add how Star Wars ruined his life as well.
-
He could make a mint off just shilling autographs the rest of his life. Suck it up, "Annie", and deal.
-
Gosh, two bad movies and he falls into depression. Not the most stable person there. I remember watching the screen tests for Anakin on the bonus features. They showed three kids screen tests. The other two kids were much better than Lloyds. It's like Lucas purposely picked the worst kid possible.
-
Adult Jake kind of looks like Hayden Christensen... if he shaved and grew his hair.

Poor bastard.
Fans have been pretty merciless with this kid. And they haven't stopped to think that he's still just that: a kid. Even if he is 26 years old now.
I remember watching those screen tests, too. And actually, Jake was better. The other kids were nothing great. I think it's this fanboy revisionist history where it's now cool to hate on the prequels. Funny, because when those movies came out nobody was saying how bad they were at the time. The whole "George Lucas raped my childhood" nonsense didn't start until AFTER it had all gone down.
I hope Jake Lloyd can get his act together and move on.

I think it was also that the kid and his parents thought they were going to be rich. Star Wars was suppose to launch Jake's acting career.

The mother of Jake Lloyd, the actor who played Anakin Skywalker in "Star Wars," reportedly told police her son has schizophrenia and is off his medications, according to a Wonderwall report. Lloyd, who also led police on a high-speed chase, reportedly attacked his mother and Indianapolis police were called. "Jake is not a violent person," his mother said, refusing to press charges. - AP
