From Hasbro Pulse: (http://pulse.hasbro.com/news/article?article=gi_joe_fan_vote)
Four Kindle Worlds characters contend for one action figure slot.
As revealed at New York Comic Con, the fans’ voice will be heard in the first ever G.I. Joe Fan Vote. Four original characters have been selected from the fan-authored stories available at www.kindleworlds.com and one of them will be chosen by the fans to receive an action figure in the 2016 G.I. Joe toy lineup. We are proud to introduce: Cobra Whisper, Cobra Blackjack, Stiletto, and Adventure Team Marcus:
Stay tuned to the Hasbro Pulse as the voting will open soon…

Of course fans don't get actual say into which characters they vote for, as there's unmade characters out there from media they'd want to see more than four fanfic creations :-X.
Wonder if this one is rigged like the Star Wars polls?

That 4th guy looks like a classic Fuzzhead Joe. I'd want that.
Technically all Joes are "fan fic" from Hasbro. ;)
-
Fuzzhead is probably least likely to win, because he's adventure team and fanboys like their butt-kicking fantasy women.
I'd still rather see those ninjas and zombies they had concept mock-ups of...some of the ninjas even appeared in the micro line.
-
I missed those mock ups.
I was thinking same thing that one of those females will get done for similar reason. :-X
I will vote Fuzzhead Joe all the way!

I have not read any of the fan fic.
I will throw away my vote and vote for the fuzz head guy.
But I couldn't agree more... Fan-wanks and their ninja-sniper-renegade-computer wiz-latex body suit and bullet proof bra wearing female figure will get the old ballot stuffing going.
I really think if they would relaunch the Adventure Team concept, they would have a much better chance at making the line good again, and it would make for a better chance at the movie being watchable. But that is a different thread.

Some have gotten made like Data Viper and new versions of popular characters, others were made for the collector's club subscription line.
Zombie Ninja...what's not to love? Dreadnok hockey mask guy!
