Rumors about a new Rebel/Resistance fighter have circulated for a while. I think this might be the U-Wing fighter.
It definitely looks like some sort of evolution of the B-Wing. Also notice it comes with the new Ackbar and new Leia.

I'm hoping that the Captain Rex's AT-TE is modeled after the one from SW Rebels. It would be cool to get an older version of Rex and the other two Clones (can't remember who they were) along with the crazy AT-TE they were on!

I saw the Resistance Troop Transport today. It's a really cool looking set, and it's one of my favorite ships from TFA so far. I may have to take the plunge on that set.
I've tried to resist LEGO for a long time, but my wife and daughter got me a set from REBELS. It's a little Imperial Troop Transport set. Now, I've heard for a while that a good number of people find the methodical routine of putting together a LEGO set pretty therapeutic. It seems to help a lot of people focus on something and decompress from the concerns of their jobs or whatever else. Well, putting together the Imperial Troop Transport has definitely yielded similar results for me. So a set as sizable as the Resistance Troop Transport would probably be a great exercise in stress management.

There is a seller on Amazon that has several of these sets up for pre-order and includes pictures. He has the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire Battle Packs, Obi-Wan's ROTS Starfighter, Carbon Freezinng Chamber, Hoth set and Kanan's Speederbike. Still really interested in seeing images of some of the rumored Summer sets.

Word is they will be out by the end of February. LEGO held back on non-TFA sets to cash in on the movie's popularity.

I saw these for the first time last night at a Hobby Shop. Tempted to get them, but holding out for a sale I think (They were $15 each).

I'm more interested in the "TV Series" that is slated for August. I don't think it's referring to Rebels since that is referenced elsewhere.
Boba in Rogue One? I don't see why not. A fleet of Firespray-class ships? That would be cool too. A placeholder until they can show us what's really slated for fall? Most likely. Isn't a new Slave I lego set coming out in spring already?

My son loved the Yoda Chronicles and (especially) Droid Tales. They were fun to watch together for sure. He's gonna be pumped for this.

Yeah, this might be one of the worst sets in the history of the LEGO Star Wars line. It's just a mashup of four previous Hoth sets, outside of the Ion Cannon and Shield Generator (which both look awful... for $250 they couldn't get the right number of circles on the shield generator?).

Looks like a bunch of overpriced garbage with a severe lack of minifigures.

What I don't understand is why we're getting so many new designs, new concepts that were never seen in the OT when this is set right before the OT begins...
That being said - I think the minifigure list at the bottom of that post is just the unique figures, there will undoubtedly be multiples of the troopers in each of these sets. Look at the floating tank set - the main picture shows two troopers but the minifigure chart only shows two. I would be VERY shocked if we didn't get Rogue One themed Rebels and Empire battle packs in 2017 to even further bolster the trooper figures.
The set I'm looking forward to seeing the most is the new Death Star set.

I don't mind that at all. I like the designs. What I don't get, is that we get these new designs adjacent to the OT, but jump 30 years into the future and the amazing new ships we got are... an X-Wing,... and a TIE Fighter. Personally, I think a couple piles of concept art got mixed up between TFA and Rogue One meetings.

I've been getting extremely tempted to pick up Krennic's shuttle. It's such a cool design, and I have serious doubts that Hasbro will ever get to it. And I can totally use the stress relief of being able to focus on a Lego project that big.
