Hmmn...any idea when this comes out? If Cassian is the only new figure, I might return my individual boxes of the other two.

Jyn is a straight repack, which I don't quite get. The Death Trooper is the specialist version with the Sandtrooper like gear. He's different than the mainline release.

Aw man, I was really hoping we were going to get the K2-SO with blaster that was being shown everywhere early on, rather than another Jyn repack.
I sort of regret buying the single carded figure now too...dang.

Thank you Amazon for not releasing Jyn until mid-October! Get ready for that figure to become a Finn/Zuvio pegwarmer.

Nice set! But this version of Jyn Erso winding up in this set as well as a 6" Black Series basic figure is just bizarre. I had that preordered through Amazon, but I just cancelled that.
I thought that there might be an exclusive version of the Death Troopers once that Hot Toys one was revealed. And sure enough, here it is!

I'd imagine this may come out around Thanksgiving time. Didn't last years Target set come out about that time? Like a black friday ad thing?

Yeah, I'd expect this set to be like the Poe/Stormie set. That was a late October, early November thing. Target does up a toy catalog with coupons and deals that basically go from Nov 1 to Black Friday. I expect this set will be in that ad since they use that to drum up pre-Black Friday business.
edit: Also, I updated Jayson's first post with some bigger pics of the set... didn't really notice Cassian's multi-piece blaster until just now. Very cool.

JTA reports that this set has been found at multiple stores on the east coast.

Brickseek showing "Not Available" at every store around here. I'm still waiting on last year's exclusive to go on clearance too.

Nothing here in Central Texas yet... Black Series figures have been cleared out since Force Friday, and my stores don't even have a shelf/peg sticker for this set yet.
Oddly they still have room for the Poe/TR-8R set, which I haven't seen since January when I got mine.

Checked Brickpicker today and saw two stores showing them In Stock. I hit the one closest to my office but there were no signs of it anywhere. Since I didn't feel like driving around I just went to the Customer Service desk and had them pull a fresh case from the back. I picked out the one with the best paint apps (there was only 1 out of 4, yikes) and went on my merry way.
Cannot wait to crack this open tonight. The Death Trooper Specialist looks amazing!

They added it to the site, but there's none available for shipping. it's just available for store pick up. Despite 50+ Targets in the Minneapolis metro, there are none in stock anywhere close by. ::)

My order converted to an in-store pickup. And the site was NOT very clear about that. I placed my order while I was at work in NYC, and the site used my work location as a reference. I'm okay with the store in New Jersey that got the order, and I only had to go a little bit out of my way to pick it up. Thankfully it didn't try sending me out to Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx to pick it up.

Found four of these tonight at the local Target, and snagged one. $59.99 but the set was $5 off for whatever reason. The paint apps were fairly decent, but some of the Cassians were quite bad.
