I am not much of a customizer but i try. I am new to these forums but they look good. I have my own forum so i am pretty busy with that. I also review figures. Here are some links Allsith (http://Http://allsith.com)
Star Wars Reviews (http://starwarsreviews.com) I posted allsith not for competiton. I am making modifacations to the site and we are having a custom galery. Where you can upload your images. And have others see them ;) I hope this is a great forum. It looks it thoguh and here are a couple of my customs.

Ok thanks but the customs like them?
-
Bangs? from rebelscu... :-\
Ok,they look nice, especially the biker head swap.
-
Well yes i was from scum, yet I was an immature little brat that took advantage of their forums and spammed it.
-
I think we've all spammed RS's boards befour.
-
LOL ;D People only choose to spam there because it is so big. Great for advertising. I would advertise Allsith.com but i am banned don't miss it though just a huge community no on can control
EDITED
Bangs, watch your mouth first, second it's not acceptable to talk about another site's administration like that here. Opinions are opinions, but keep them to yourself if they're not constructive or civil.

Now don't start bashing RS,they just have bad mods is all.If you want to bash RS,do so underhandly. ;)

No good can come out of this. :-X
Anyway, Bangs, what I would do, is work on your paint aplication more carefully. Ive used masking tape to esablish areas that I want painted, and it keeps things alot, alot, alot neater. :)
Good luck on future customs.

I just peel it off, and there isnt any residue. Not from what Ive used anyway.

Huh,maybe I'm using the wrong tape.

Generally the cheaper the tape, the more likely to leave residue there is. There's masking tape made specifically for hobby enthusiasts, and you may wanna look for it at your local hobby shop.
I've had the same residue problems in the past. It happens to us all at some point I think. :)
