Title: Back into the customizing swing, vintage style!
Post by: CorranHorn on April 12, 2004, 02:26 AM
Still in the midst of unpacking after my move, but after picking up a vintage Walrusman for a buck, I decided it was time to go forth with a repaint I've wanted to do for a long time. Based on the Walrusman in this picture (http://www.toysrgus.com/images-rarit/german-proto.html)  I present my version of the original Kenner prototype Walrusman....

Enjoy and as always constructive thoughts, comments, and suggestions welcomed.

Happy Customizing!

That's pretty damn cool. I'd go with a shade darker paint for 'em, though. Or is that just the way the photo turned out? Looks cool, regardless - thanks for sharing this, I never knew about these proto's!

Yeah it's just the way the pic came out. I can't seem to a great picture with my digicam. I use the macro feature to get clear looking pics, but then the color is kinda faded, i can get crisper color without the macro but then the pics are blurry. :(
