Title: AOTC DVD Easter Eggs
Post by: Chris Belle on November 17, 2002, 10:01 AM: Just wondering what easter eggs everyone has found on the AOTC DVD.

I found the gag reel, and saw a TIE Fighter in the Coruscant chase scene. Let us know what you found and how you found it. :)

Post by: Angry Ewok on November 17, 2002, 12:00 PM: I also saw three 3 TIE's chasing the X-Wing. Other than that and the few obvious things (Jango bumping his head, Anakin's shadow, etc), I haven't really picked up on anything else.
I can't even spot the Falcon's on Naboo, at least I don't think they are Falcons.

If you look closely in the Coruscant Bar, Ketwol (or someone in same outfit) is walking outside.

There are supposed to be 3 hidden shaaks in the movie. I haven't had any luck yet. The shaaks are the grazing animals around Padme & Anakin when they are schmoozing it up on Naboo.

1. There is a floating Shaak in the Coruscant chase scene, but it is very fleeting and needs to be found using a frame by frame mode.

2. The asteroid field dogfight there is a Shaak disguised as an asteroid. Also tough to locate. It's been hinted that it's got craters, but also has legs and the snout of a Shaak.

3. A myth that a running Shaak on flames appears during the Clone War.

the Shaaks were a big inside joke at ILM and they basically had a running contest to see who could get away with adding a Shaak in their scene.

I'm still looking. Anyone out there found one yet?

Um, to get to the gag reel:

Go to settings.
Highlight the THX logo.
Punch in "11" (you may need to use the 10+ button).
Click enter/return if it doesnt do so automatically
Punch in 3.
Click enter if you need to.
Punch in 8.
Click enter if you need to.
You should then hear the Cantina music as the reel begins.

That's how it works on mine (I have a Toshiba). It also works on my laptop. :)

Actually you go to the Options menu. I didn't have to highlight anything. I just punched in the #'s as JP stated in the above thread.
