Title: Mexican Bootleg Figures
Post by: DSJ™ on December 22, 2004, 12:04 PM
I received these Mexican bootleg figures from a great friend Joseph Yglesias yesterday in the mail. I have seen these on toysrgus.com (http://www.toysrgus.com/collectors.html) & ebay from time to time. I really don't know much about these, only from what I have read.

These figures are awesome, not the best figures for the plastic & paint job but cool none the less.

These 2 carded figures have 3 figures sealed in a clear baggie & stapled to shrunk down copy of a modern POTF card. Not sure if these were sold that way in the south. Maybe if Joseph pops in here he can give the answer.  :)

Heres a link to the archive on some of the bootlegs:

Great score Dale.

Joseph Yglesias is one of the main bootlegs collectors in the world.

I'm sure Rebel Scumbags John Alvarez or Kim Zoll can tell you more about these beauties, but I don't think they post here at Defender.

Those are actually really cool. The only Mexican Star Wars stuff I have is the Lili Ledi 12 inch Tusken Raider. I have been trying to get a few more but the prices are never right.

Joseph said that the carded 3 packs came like that. Pretty cool.  8)
