Since it was just posted on the OS tonight:
Episode III
REVENGE OF THE SITH
War! The Republic is crumbling under attacks by the ruthless Sith Lord, Count Dooku. There are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere.
In a stunning move, the fiendish Droid leader, General Grievous, has swept into the Republic capital and kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine, leader of the Galactic Senate.
As the Seperatist Droid Army attempts to flee the besieged capital with their valuable hostage, two Jedi Knights lead a desperate mission to rescue the captive Chancellor....
I actually like it. Feels a lot more back in the serial swing of the OT openers.

Nice! I was just reading all of the crawls and noticed they ended ANH and ROTJ the same way...which is sort of lame
I do like this new one though. Wasn't there a rumor that the first line of Episode II was going to be: WAR!
-
It's great. Very much dropping you right in it the way the OT crawls did.
-
I like the crawl as well since it really sounds like they are dropping the audience into the middle of something more exciting than the past 2 films.
-
I enjoyed the crawl as well, and agree with everyone's thoughts here. It feels OT-ish, and drops you right into the ongoing action. I was pretty surprised to see that up on the Official Site last night, nice little surprise.
-
it fits in well with the OT crawl, much better than the lame one for ep1.

What, the TPM opener of such thrilling events as:
The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute.
doesn't get you all pumped for some thrilling galactic senate debate action? :P

I can't wait for the movie! There is a fully animated version of the crawl at http://www.galacticsenate.com/darth_darthy...starwarzcom.zip It's pretty sweet! I feel more excited about this movie now than ever.

Sorry about the link. Just go right to the site and you can get it there.

That WAR! seems wierd to me. Feels out of place in Star Wars...
Oh well, the rest is good.
