Title: Lightsaber/Blaster effects...need help *pics*

Hey guys...i decided to pave my own way with Lightsaber effects and so far it isn't going to well...I've tried various methods using Paint and Microsoft Photo Editor, and I thought I may be hitting on something easy and effective (no pun intended), but I'm going to post a few pics here to see what you guys think...

Like I said..this isn't the final product, it's only a really bad rough draft sort of version. I'm going to continue woring on finding a way to make simple effects, but so far this is my progress.

If anyone wants to join the digital effects problem solvers club, feel free to.

Already they look great!  These kind of effects will add so much to your photonovels.

I am still learning how to do stuff like this too.  My program sucks!

Yea same here...

I worked on some more methods this afternoon and came out with this...I'm actually surprised at the look...I think I'm getting closer to some reasonable effects.

I really like the Dooku/Obi/Ani shot...They all need work, but for not having sophisticated programs....I'd say I'm making progress. Not to an egomaniac or anything. ;)

Hey guys...

Any questions you've got about the direction of the photonovel or customs in the photonovel, or anything really related to the photonovel can be posted in there, or out here. Especially if it's a general question about the photonovel.

I'll also be using this thread to show off some customs, however mediocre they may be. ;)

Cool - I like the idea of a thread for your customs all in one place. 

I will look at the new chapter when I am at work in the morning hopefully... my slow dial up here is just too darn frustrating.

Wow!  The effects look awesome, especially for a first attempt!
