Well, it ain't a country in Europe, and most people sure as hell don't want to see it... It's bald... :(
Yea, I'm 18, and looking at my grandfathers, I can tell which one I favor the most in the good ol gene pool... so I give myself about 10 years before I really begin to bald.
So, what I'm getting at is this... Has anyone tried Rogaine? I gotta be honest I have no idea what Rogaine really is, but if it works, I'm all for it in about 10 years...
Of course, if I shave my head that'd solve the problem for good :-X ....

Nothing wrong about being bald. It's the in thing now.
There are alot of people at work with the old shaven look. I'd rather be going bald than going grey. :o

Dude, just shave it. I don't even mean Bic it. I have been shaving my head since I was in 8th grade. That was 10 years ago.
Trust me, it's a nice look.

I agree, I have been buzzing mine for 13 years. Most people like it. I wouldn't worry about it now, if in the future you are concerned then talk to your Dr. but personally there are things that will help keep what hair you have with out rogaine.

I've been accused of going bald since I was in 6th grade, which was like 16 years ago. I have a really, really high forehead but I haven't lost any hair since then. So while I may look bald, I'm not and I don't think I am going bald. More of an Eddie Munster or Count Dracula looks with the big Widow's Peak

As far as shaving it goes... I think I'll wait until after graduation before I shave my head. There's an indian-way that says when you go nuts with your hair (shaving, mohawk, etc) that it means your preparing for an extreme act, so I don't wanna alarm anyone as superstitious as me...

No baldness in my family, sorry. I've always had a thick head of hair, although the hairline has always been high. When Episode I came out I had the Qui-Gon 'do (two feet long, top knot, sometimes braided), but after having long hair for five years, I decided to go Padawan. People didn't recognize me for weeks.
I'll probably grow it out again once I get a lot more grey, but I swore if I ever started to go bald, I'd just do a Picard Maneuver and shave it close. It's just hair.

Hey now, I don't say anything behind anyone's back. It ain't my fault the damn dancing elephant hasn't been around. I think I've taken pot shots at Bob at just about every site that I'm registered on. Hell, he expects it from me. It just happens that he is one of the few guys older than me that I can actually take shots at.
At least I don't go running to tattle tale on someone (s) :P ;D

Maybe, I don't know everybody here, so there's still hope.
I like to think of you "children" as padawans, while us oldsters are more wise, perhaps associated with the color green (Dang, Yoda, Celtics, both green - whose yellow and purple in SW? Oh right, icky colors, nobody).

Well, it ain't really bald, but I've gotta say it was extremely weird having my whole lower stomach area shaved for my appendectomy. Haven't seen the skin down there in some of those areas for many, many years. Felt strange feeling the smooth skin, and now it looks even weirder seeing all the little hairs growing back. Feels all prickly n' stuff. Just want it back to it's old fuzzy self...
So Brad, who's your little issue been working out for the past year...? :P

Hmmmm... you've posted about the stomach shaving part of your surgery more than the surgery itself. It sounds like an obsession. Are you sure you haven't developed some gut-shaving fetish? ;)

Actually, I'm hardly hairy at all. Just the average "happy trail" and some fuzz around my belly button area. And since I had the Laproscopic surgery, the incisions were in those areas, rather than the usual spot off to the lower right side. But they shaved everything around that entire area though. Left the "other" stuff (below) though... :P
