Picked this figure up too. Not too much to say about this figure. It has a control lever in his back so when you push it in & out, it creates a realistic sbare action.
Just looking at the figure in the package, I am not an opener, it looks like Mace is stabbing himself with the Lightsaber & it is coming out his back angled.
Not a great action figure to display in the package IMO.
You be the judge.

That's funny Dale! Yeah - looks like you're right! Maybe it hit a rib or something and went back up a little when going out of his back! I'm still sticking with the water flavored lollipop theory myself, for that little lever thingee... :D

No wonder why Mace Windu figures are the "ultimate" peg warmers here in the Chicago area.......

I opened this figure up to be both pleasantly suprised and dissapointed.
I'll start with the positive...great idea on the sabre action and rubber arms. You can actually have a sabre duel, this is very cool. The robe actually fits, not like that parka force on to JS Obi. Very sleek material.
On the downside the lever could have been shortned about 1/8 of an inch and the lever cut in half to decrease it's visability.
I hope Hasbro makes more figures like this!

I have this figure (of course still carded though) and I'm not too impressed with it. I don't care for the "action" features on figures, and that big plastic stick that is on his back looks terrible. The rest of this figure looks pretty good though.

Out of the package this is a cool action figure, being able to have a lightsaber duel priceless.

one tip, scan the image under an angle (not straint, but like 33° or so, so you don't have the "Moirree"" effect :)
