Title: Action Figure Stands
Post by: Boba Binks on April 1, 2003, 11:35 AM
Can anyone tell me where I can order those clear circle stands for the Star Wars figures? For the life of me I cannot remember where I bought the ones I have. It has been so long ago.
I ordered them from some website but can't seem to remember.  >:(

They are the same stands that the Fan Club gave away when you bought the Hoth Leia, Pote Snitkin, Death Star Droid, and now I can't remember the other figure.

It has been a long past 24 hours. I am now going to go to bed and get some rest. I am so glad that I have the rest of the day and tomorrow off.

If anyone can help out please post.
I need to order about 100 or so of these stands. I only have about 15 left in my stockpile.

Yeah, you're looking for the clear Real Stands David.  If you just head on over to our main page, you'll see a button on the right hand side linking you to them.  Just hit that, so they know JediDefender sent ya'!   ;)

Best stands on the market - for sure!  They're the only ones I use...   8)

You can make them from a cutdown plate of transparent plastic (every hardware store has it).
Polish of the sides and round em with a machine or sandpaper...

Then just put in a small screw, about 2-3mm thick and 5-7mm long, and do it in the right place... and than you have you're stand...

It's good when you have a glass-cabin, because the transparent stands almost invisible then....

Why did you resurrect 6 old threads Apoc? Obviously the people found what they were looking for ???. Its actually cheaper I believe for those real stands, they are perfectly round unlike a hand made one, and these cost like a dollar a piece or less, meaning you save time and money when you just buy them from the Realstands.

You are so right,

But i'm new here so I didn't look at the dates and I had a whole evening of nothing to do, so I just gave some tips. ;)

The tips could be helpfull if you're more like a modeler like me, but you are so right to buy them. Here in Europe the stands are too hard too get, so i just make them. I wouldn't have written the comments if I could just get the stands, get it? 8)

Sorry about the resurrection, I hope I don't do it again :P

Marauder John's "Gunrunners" has a new interlocking system of stands as well...

I've not bought any myself, not yet anyway, but they really look like they'd make an interesting "floor" for a Death Star or something too, not just simply stands.  Good if you're looking for a different way to display.

I'd wager so since they took forever to sell through even.

I've got so many it's obscene.  I plan to use a lot of them, but man I separated them one day and I really do have a ton of them.
