This is bilbo here from the uk with some sad news two weeks ago Ilost a large part of my STAR WARS ACTION FIGURE COLLECTION in a house fire,  So Iwould like to know if any one can help me build my collection :'( :'( :'( up again with cheap figures for sale or donations of  of where I acn get the ones I lost cheap, If you can help one  :'( :'( very upset fan , thank you. bilbo

Sorry to hear that Bilbo.  I think a good starting place would be the classified section or the trade section.

I'm impressed that in just 2 weeks after a house fire in which belongings were lost, one of your first priorities is to rebuild your star wars figure collection.  Thatta boy!!   :D

I think you can usually find huge lots of figures on eBay as well, I see it all the time.

When I start to collect (1999) was to late to purchase POTF2 at retail, then I found a good source for cheap loose figures (please shop wisely).... Brian'sToys.com (http://www.brianstoys.com).

I dont think anyone gives Brianstoys enough credit.  Cant any of you remember some of the deals he used to offer?  With every $200 purchase he used to let you pick a free gift.  Usually some $1 clearance pegwarmer.  Sales I bet skyrocketed.

Hey guys, I'm serious. And for what you got for free, I remeber buy $150 and get my Boba Fett vs. IG-88, I think that was a good deal. I buy stuff to trade and for me was a good deal. Right now they have:And in checkout write "super50" for a $10 discount when you buy $50 or more. From my point of view this is a good deal.

Those really aren't great deals. You can get most of those really cheap ones for that on E-Bay and you can get most of those loose for about $5 or less in the classifieds here. The "freebies' are always the biggest pegwarmers. And for awhile you could get Silver Fetts for the cheap price of $325.00 ::)

This guy contacted me a couple weeks back when I unloaded my collection.  He would be greatful if I could make a donation.  Seems a little too convenient.  I would never have the gonads to come and just ask for free stuff in this day and age.  Plus I notice this person is not responding to any other boards any more. 

So if any other dumbass out there wants to fund my collection because I can no longer afford alot of stuff, feel free to email me.

But what the heck. I work for the Jolly Old Man in a red suit who lives at the North Pole. There are thousands of requests from KIDS who want all the SA Clone Wars Clone Troopers, Shock Troopers, Green and Red Clone Commanders, all SA 41 ROTS Clones, and all #6 clones you have.
Then when the Tatical Assult Clones come out, please send all you buy to me via the Jolly Old Man. This will ensure that all the KIDS who have requested these sought after, hard to find figures can receive them for Christmas. PM me for my address or send your clones to:

Well, my rancor figure keeps eating all adjacent figures, so now its not even third party intrusions onto my display that I need to worry about. At this rate my collection may dwindle to my rancor, snoova (who the rancor has found to be as unappealling as we all do), and a large mound of rancor poodoo.

Listen, this guy was asking for people to send him stuff before his "fire". Sure, if he was someone we all knew, then I would probably believe him. But he's been here for a total of like 6 posts. In that very short time he's asked for freebies, then conveniently suffered a fire in which all his figures were destroyed (but apparently not his computer), and very promtly returned to asking for free figures.

I call shenanigans.

Let this be a lesson to us all.  Keep your hot chicks in the basement and your cheesesteak sandwiches in the nightstand where they belong.  Storing those items in the toolshed is just flirting with disaster.

Besides the obvious risk of catastrophic loss. . .storing cheesesteak and hot chicks in the same location is just asking for your hot chicks to eat the cheesesteak.  And then what have you got?  No cheesesteak, and fat chicks who used to be hot.  Nobody needs that.

70 VOTC Stormtroopers, and 10 Clone evolutions sets are what I need.  Any help, thanks.

All my army builders were returned to me today.  The reason on the shipping slip said "Address specified no longer exists".

I guess their postal service is not as forgiving as ours.  Oh well, I was having sender's remorse anyway.

And all joking aside, as I said in my PM reply to you....if I was going to donate all of my action figures to a stranger, I'd have to go for one of the kids who lost all they own in Hurricane Katrina.  Sorry about that.

This is bilbo  and I wish to say how nasty some people have been towards me and about my sad news and asking for help with rebuilding my starwars collection.

I state that this did happen to me and that people whi are saying that I am on some Con, Scam tec, are not true.So if there are still and good honest fans like me who think that they can help please get in touch. :'( :'( :'( ???

We were particulary impressed with how motivated you were to first rebuild your toy collection in the wake of a 2 week old conflagration in which we can only assume that your toys were not the only thing lost in the process of your home burning down.

I hope people can find it in their hearts to resolve the ultra important and highly prioritized issue of replacing your toys.

Damn those other JDers for not taking you seriously, those mutants.

bilbo - I'm sorry if you really did have a fire, but you can't expect a bunch of strangers to take your word for it and send you free stuff...
