At the end of the Umbara story arc I can't say that I'm surprised about Krell's turn.  Last week's shot of him with the flames reflected in his eyes was a big bit of foreshadowing.  I was a little surprised by just how much he explained in the final scene.  But that may be because of the nature of the show.  Some things need to be explained to the potential wide ranging audience.

I'll also admit that I'm surprised to see that the opportunity wasn't taken for Anakin to play the hero.  But given the way things turned out, it seems that the Clones had to handle this on their own.

I was really looking forward to that Obi-Wan shuttle.  As things stand now I STILL can't find the Y-Wing scout bomber.

Darth Sidious is probably the coolest figure to check out in this set of photos.  Especially since the cloak and hood are completely removable.

Managed to find R7-D4 at last, but none of the rest of that armored Savage wave.  Also managed to score a Commander Colt for trade bait.

Made a few TVC finds yesterday.  Got a couple more RFT's, another Ponda Baba and found a crushed case of TVC wave 8.  Those cards were just mangled.  Case lineup was as follows:

1x VC23 Jedi Luke Skywalker
1x VC25 R2-D2 with lightsaber and drink tray (Revenge)
1x VC26 Rebel Commando (black running change)
1x VC27 Wicket (Revenge)
1x VC53 Bom Vimdim (Ep IV)
1x VC41 Stormtrooper (Revenge)
1x VC62 Han Solo (ROTJ)
1x VC65 TIE Pilot (ROTJ)
1x Boba Fett (ROTJ)
1x VC63 Keyan Farlander (ROTJ)
1x VC64 Slave Leia (Revenge)
1x VC08 Darth Vader

I scored the Endor Rebel and TIE Pilot for myself, plus a Bom Vimdim for a friend.

Maybe Target did a little research and saw that it was a completely rehashed idea?  Perhaps they wanted something that had a little more effort put into it?

Meh.

Glad that I can focus on the TVC line and skip almost ALL of this line.

Now, I regret turning my nose up to the Chewbacca / Even Piell wave at K-Mart because I thought they were overpriced.  I haven't seen any of those figures since, and that was at least 2 months ago.

Found the Armored Savage/Chewie wave this morning at TRU.

So unless the Eeth Koth wave starts shipping again - the Flamethrower Clonetrooper wave can, so why not the Riot Control Clonetrooper wave? - I'm done with Clone Wars figures in the Shadows of the Dark Side packaging...

The WalMart exclusives is a whole other matter...  :-\

I've seen the Eeth Koth wave as recently as a few weeks ago at TRU.

The Dianoga was pretty cool, I bought one from a fellow collector because I had no interest in the figures from the two sets.  Hasbro could probably card it by itself and sell it as a basic figure.

If Hasbro could figure out a way to make the tentacle well articulated, I would be totally into a new Dianogah.

Apparently Lucas Arts is taking the hacking of Sony's Playstation network very seriously.  They've put out this statement today regarding network security and the protection of SWTOR personal user information.

Quote
As we prepare to launch Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, we want to ensure that your account and personal information are as secure as possible. To that end, we have begun implementing new security features within StarWarsTheOldRepublic.com that are designed to protect you. This process includes a refresh of our password security requirements. To make sure that all accounts comply with our new security measures, members of the Star Wars: The Old Republic community who created accounts on StarWarsTheOldRepublic.com on or before October 21st, 2011 will be required to reset their password in order to meet with these new standards. Those members who created an account after October 21st, 2011 will not receive an email and do not need to update their passwords.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sending out emails to everyone who created an account on or before October 21st, 2011 to notify them that their password must be reset. You do not need to take any action prior to receiving an email.

When you create your new password, ensure that it meets the following criteria: the password must be 8-16 characters long and use at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one number. The more variety that you use in your password, the stronger your password will be.

Just like any other user account you have, changing your The Old Republic password on a regular basis is one of the simple measures you can take to protect your personal information. Another way to ensure a secure account is to get the official custom branded Security Authentication Key, available in the Star Wars: The Old Republic Collector’s Edition. The Collector’s Edition is still available in limited quantities at select retailers. Watch for more information on other ways to obtain The Old Republic Security Key soon!

Your Star Wars: The Old Republic account credentials are linked to EA.com and Origin.com, so your new password will be applied across all three websites. If you have any difficulties in updating your password, please contact our Customer Service team who’ll be happy to assist you.

We're definitely seeing the hardening of the Clones as they were mopping up some of the Umbarans.  The way they were very cavalier about shooting the damaged caterpiller tanks, and then the wounded Umbaran absolutely illustrated that.

There was also one shot of Krell surveying the battlefield, with yellow eyes and flames reflected in them.  It made me wonder if he's somehow been turned to the Dark Side.

I also liked the slight bit of foreshadowing, as Krell was talking to "Sergeant" Appo.  And the reserve troops that were hanging back with him seemed to have unit markings that were much more like the 501st from ROTS.
