The Wookiee Arcade / Re: Anyone Play Jedi Power Battles?
« on: March 18, 2007, 06:59 PM »
Heh, WAY long time since I've been on the forums!

I would buy a 'reissue' pack of games.  LFL should just do a battle chest with all the games updated to play on current systems.  I've spent days trying to get Dark Forces to work on my computer!

Yeah we know about Gaeta.  I'm talking like with the Sarge ranting at him about not doing anything to stop Boltar.  It is like how dumb are these characters that Gaeta isn't obvious to them?

I find the whole deal with the human police force to be just stupid.  After four months of occupation they'll willingly do a Nazi style repression death culling.  OH, wait one saved Callie.  It doesn't fit.

Nor does the whole Cylon 'we love' you garbage fit.  "We stopped trying to wipe you out, now we love. So let's just oppress you, torture you, beat you, screw with your heads and then just murder you...all to show you the love of god."  Talk about convoluted insanity!  Lebon and his perverted work with Starbuck is just psychotic.

-Felix Gaeta is simply OBVIOUS as the leak in the Boltar admin.
-Col Tigh's missing eye probably has something else in a BOMB!  uhoh
-Zarek will have thrown his body over Roslin, to save her.

let's see how right I am. =)

Yeah, I'd prefer a book form.

There is a Boba Fett ebook
"A Practical Man"

OOOOOH BABY!  sorry for drooling on you.  This made my day! ;D

Ook, you know it!  "V" would be a great toy line.

Hmm, BSG is back...Perhaps it is time to bring V back to the small screen!

Are you trying to reassemble an episode? =)

Mine has a green cat like looking head on it. He's got bluish hair and some sort of crown.

PM me an address to mail it to.  I'll see if I can dig it up.

You don't like the political side of the show? Its actually pretty important to consider how the refugees of an entire civilization could maintain order. I love the way its handled in the show...and I loved the season finale.

It was mainly the whole campaign between the Pres and Boltar.  The debates are idiotic.  I couldn't stand the 'wedge' issue with New Caprica.

Just how long would it take one to read this entire thread?

Is there a thread size limit here? heh

Other Toy Lines / Re: The Official 21st Century Toys Thread

This line is just great!  It is great to have real competition in the action figure market.

I'd say the change was almost immediately after Sith.  By Sith the armor was already shifting towards the stormtrooper version.  All the customized units were all known for who lead them, jedi, and the Emperor wants that all wiped away.

Order 66 goes out, then all the paint jobs are revoked and the customized units are paired down to the bare min.  Snow, sand, commando, water, space, normal.

$65 for a 6inch statue.  Seems a bit excessive.

Is there a means to save ebooks after you buy them?

I pretty much hate ebooks, but would like to read the stories that are ONLY available on them. I bought the Darth Maul ebook years ago but couldn't get into reading a whole book while sitting at the computer.  However, I then had to reformat my computer and there was no method to save the ebook, I think I was using the MS reader program.   The ebook downloads INTO the reader and there was no way to save the actual file. Thus, I lost my ebook.

I was looking at the Adobe reader and it sounds like you can actually save the individual books so reformating won't cause you to lose them.

Anyone know if this is true? I'd rather not buy the Adobe version books just to find it is like the MS version.

I was pretty disappointed with how they ended last season.  The politic stuff just really stunk.  Jumping ahead a year helped to avoid the setting up though, I think they was good, considering.  I am still looking forward to tomorrow.
