The price on these for what you get isn't very good at all.  I'm starting to rethink collecting these at $10+ a piece.

95% of the ReAction stuff I've got has come from EE Daily Deals (20-30% off) or the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE Funko deals (like they have right now ;)).  Granted, I'm only casually buying figures here or there and not chasing too many variants so far, but they are much nicer when you're only paying $7-8 each.

The B&W Universal Monsters have been going for $30+ on eBay.  Although now I can't find them on eBay and the Super 7 link doesn't have any - did they get released at the convention?

I couldn't find any of the single carded B&W Universal Monsters though. Did those not go up yet?

Those were sold at Funko's booth, not Super7's booth so I doubt they hit the Super7 store.

The Black Series 3.75" Figures / Re: Black Series Rumors
« on: October 9, 2015, 04:08 PM »
Hasbro is going out of their way in the Q&As to kill that TRU exclusive TVC rumor...

Q&A with Imperial Shipyards:
"The rumor is not true. Vintage collection will definitely come back in the future when the time is right."

Q&A with SSG:
"3 3/4” super-articulated figures are exclusive to Walmart right now.  If we decide to create packs like you’re talking about, like the Black Series packs for TRU—while nothing’s in development as of right now, if we did that, it would stay to Walmart.  That scale, that expression, is currently exclusive to Walmart."

Got an email last night that mine was processing then this morning I received another email saying they could not fulfill my order and are trying to cancel the order, which may or may not happen as they could ship it.  It is still not cancelled, but it sounded like a legal email to warn that the figures could not be processed and shipped in the time promised according to FTC compliance...

So your item is either coming, delayed, or cancelled?   ???

Congrats, TRU.  I didn't think it was possible for you to mess this thing up any more, but you found a way.   ::)

I need to go find pics of that Leia prototype now...

I missed the update on 6" Sabine.  What did they say?  I have not found anything about her yet.

Here is what SWAN said - "Sabine they're working on finding the realistic look for an animated character. Worked hard on removable helmet to make it look good when worn."

Looks like they took down whatever you were linking to...   :'(

Yeah, I guess jumped the gun a bit when they posted that and scooped their own Rebels panel at NYCC. :P

They have it up on the Star War sYouTube channel now too -

The rebellion is growing, and the stakes are higher.

I've always enjoyed Rebels, but this new preview makes it look like MUST-SEE TV.  I went from looking forward to watching Rebels with my kids to WANTING to watch Rebels... B-Wings, lost Jedi, Vader & Ahsoka, etc.  Looks fantastic.  :)

The Black Series 6" Figures / Re: New York Comic-Con 2015

Panel over and moving into Q&A...   only "NEW" reveals were updates on 6" Revan and 6" Sabine; 3.75" Seventh Sister; and preview of prototypew for 6" ANH Leia coming 2016.

Tidbits from the Q&A, courtesy of Star Wars Action News facebook page -

- Force Friday shortages = "compressed timeline led to Force Friday shortages. They're working hard to make sure you get the figures in your stores and in your hands very soon"

- More Rebels figures are coming = "Dedicated to producing new ones. Can't say who but strong hints about new Season 2 characters Hondo and the new bounty hunter"

- Black Series 3.75" at Walmart = "they're testing the line with Wal Mart. If they sell as well as they hope they could become a regular non exclusive line again. But they're very expensive to make and they are concerned with fans accepting the higher price required to put the articulation in the figures"

- 6" C-3PO = "have patience"

- there will probably be a Celebration London exclusive = "something fun"

- crappy X-Wing plastic = "they recognize the problems and they are trying to rectify the issues with the guns.  They're trying to keep up with new safety regulations, new materials that keep costs down, etc. so the toys keep evolving.  They seemed to agree with the disappointment with that vehicle, though they didn't say that in so many words."

And, panel over.

Panel is going on right now...

For McMetal - 3.75" Seventh Sister prototype revealed:

link in case pic doesn't show up

Funny looking back on this thread from 2.5+ years ago - we got that speederbike and Tauntaun folks were guessing.  Jabba too.  But who would have guessed that the "BMF" style, big ticket collector item for Episode 7 would be a 6" scale TIE Fighter?

Anyway, now that the door is WIDE open on 6" scale vehicles, anyone have a new "Fool's Dream" they are hoping for?  Obvious one would be an X-Wing to go with that 6" scale TIE...

Looks like the preview party had a bunch of stuff that's in stores now; the Titanium Series Helmets (plastic prototypes, not die cast finished product); and some new 6" figures.  However the only "NEW" newfigure was 6" TFA Han Solo I guess.

Man, that 6" TFA Han Solo is a nice looking figure. Kinda sorta makes me wish I was collecting the 6" stuff...  :-X

It sounds like the Poe/Phasma "Double-Armor Up" figures may be store exclusives.

Both have the "Epic Battles" tag (which has been seen on other TRU exclusives) and both have a higher price point than the standard "Armor Up" figures on the UK TRU site.
