Sorry guys first post in a long time but I read PW's post today and knew where to go to get comments-

I had actually thought of doing something like Dustin did just as promotion for my site. Once I saw his little plea, I entertained the thought of "running against him" and campaigning as a joke saying a vote for me is one against Scum's attempts to take over the SW Universe since he had his mitts in everything else SW. I kinda dropped the idea because while it was a joke, PW, probably would've threatened me to fire myself(long story!). But after reading PW's cocky post today, I really do wanna do this.

Being a friend of JD since day, if you guys wanted to throw some support my way- I would do it.

He wouldnt have to deal with the headaches involved on the admin end and get a nice lil chunk change for his content- thats doesnt mean he did buy but that looks like a good reason

I got burger king sausage, egg and cheese sandwhich for breakfast. I took the top of the bread off and noticed the eggs were completely yellow. There were no whites, it looked fake. Does anyone know if it has real eggs in it. It is really good, i am not complaining, just curious

It wouldn't surprise me if they did. When I worked at Mickey D's back in my high school days, we used liquid PWEs (Pasteurized Whole Eggs) for the "folded" egg sandwiches, like the Bacon, Egg and Cheese. We used standard eggs for the McMuffins.
That mustve been a long time ago because I always used fresh eggs for the folded eggs.

So let me get this straight:

A mod at Rebelscum hosts a chat room.

During a recent chat, stolen Episode III images are shared.

The images get leaked to JediDefender.

JediDefender gets a slap on the wrist from Lucasfilm who starts tracking the images back to the source.

Philip (who's got a good thing going) is suddenly feeling the heat when it's learned that these stolen images came from one of his forum mods.

Consequently - like any good manager - he insists on having the personal contact info for everyone who works with him.

Am I missing anything? It seems like Philip's just covering his own ass, just like any of us might.
And speaking of those leaked pictures- ya might wanna see take a trip across the pond at TPU and see what they uncovered- anything catch your eye?

You guys see this as some kinda shock-
he never cared about forums and the only reason they actually had forums came from the CSW merger.
It was a no brainer who's forums were getting used for that one. If he actually cared what people think dont ya think RS would have a chatroom too- not one created by a mod not even hosted by scum? Its not a server issue if he has 6 dedicated servers for Toy Fair coverage.

Actually for him, its a brilliant move. Its already not his major concern (hes too busy looking for the next site to buy) and if the forums would die- you guys would still go there for news, which really pays his bills in the first place.

And really the required info for his MODS really shouldnt be too farfetched. If the leaking spoiler info gets outta control, its his tail Lucas is going after and he's making sure these people may take some accountability if GL lays the hammer down.

I dont think hes the seller- unless he moved.

Watto's Junk Yard / Re:VH1's 20 Best HardRock Musician's
« on: March 5, 2003, 01:29 AM »
The sad thing is 14 of the top 20 bands are now defunct  :'(
And the original lineup of the Mighty VH certainly deserves to rank ahead of Metallica and maybe even Nirvana and AC/DC.  Can't really argue with the top 3 though.

Put the crack pipe away- VH? Come on!
and actually VH was a better band w/Sammy(but I do like DLR's stuff better)!
Metallica totally got shafted- they are way better than AC-DC and actually better than Black Sabbath- Ozzy as a solo artist was way better than Sabbath- who took a nose dive when Dio came onboard- and based on the topic- HARD ROCK may even give Jimi and Led Zep a solid run- No they aint better but in terms of hard rock- Face it they are!
Zep and Jimi are more blues influensed and really that stuff shouldnt be counted.

Here's my list- based on HARD ROCK(not overall musicanship)
1-Led Zepplin
2-Metallica
3-Jimi Hendrix
4-Ozzy Osbourne
5-AC-DC
6-Van Halen
7-Guns n Roses
8-Aerosmith
9-The Who
10- Black Sabbath
11-Nirvana
12-KISS
13-Alice in Chains
14-Pearl Jam
15-The Sex Pistols
16-Motley Crue
17-The Ramones
18-Queen
19-Cream
20-Alice Cooper
