Just a heads up that if you dont have HBO they are offering the episodes free if you have On Demand with your cable service.

Anyone pick up Aliens vs Predaors? The single player mode was a bit disappointing. The enviroment was a bit too dark IMO and the light you have isnt the greatest.  The online mode is a different story though and is pretty fun.

Also looking for some feedback on a decent but not overly priced headset.

On a side note, I just recently started playing online and am looking for contacts to add.  So feel free to shoot out your usernames so I can add them. Mine is crossroads69. Thanks!

We got a chance to see this and I was a little disappointed.  It was no where as funny as the first one IMO. Wonder if they are gonna tackle the PT after ROTJ.

My big problem are films getting nominations before they are even released (Avatar ???).  I was disappointed that the Shield was not nominated but the finale was so long ago and most people forgot about the show.  Come to think of it, was the finale even in '09?  I was disappointd that Breaking Bad had no nominations either.

The Vintage Collection / Re: 2010 "Vintage" Collection Wave 3 - ROTJ
« on: December 13, 2009, 10:39 PM »
Wasnt Nien Nunb (Falcon Co-Pilot) rumored for this wave? Also, I didnt notice anyone make mention of Ree-Yees.  Seems like a no brainer since the ROTS Sculpt could partially be used.  I for one am overjoyed with the light load of new OT figs next year since I have cut down to strictly EP4-6.  So from a cost standpoint this makes me very happy.  In all honesty we are nearly done with all the major OT figures minus about a 12-15 resculpts. Now if Hasbro could just go back to the vintage cards and put the best of the best on them it would be the perfect way to wind down the OT collection.

If anyone is a late bloomer like myself and has just gotten a PS3 and are considering picking up the SW and INDY Lego titles, grab them if you see them.  I had both ordered as XMAS gifts and was notified that my order was cancelled as both titles have been discontinued ???  I had to drive to about 10 Walmarts and 3 TRU last night just to find Lego SW.  The last TRU had the buy one get one half off deal, so I lucked out with both for $30. Thought for sure that these two titles would still be big sellers.  On a side note, can anyone tell me if the Lego Clone Wars is being considered for any other format than PC? Also, any news on whether Battlefront will make its way to the PS3?

TV-9D9 / Re: Upcoming SW Live-Action TV Show Discussion!

Okay, so nothing has been mentioned, rumored or even discussed since last Spring.  Anyone else have the feeling that this is never going to take off?  Personally, Id rather have them go in the direction of the Clone Wars show except with an OT theme covering the stories between 3-4, 4-5 and 5-6,

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Video Game Trade In Advice?
« on: December 8, 2009, 07:50 PM »
Well I finally did the upgrade for the kids Christmas and got a PS3 with the trade in.  I got trade in quotes from Amazon, Best Buy and TRU.  Then I went to Gamestop and they actually offered me 10% above my highest quote.  Just wished that the new PS3 had PS2 compatability.  On a side note I was told the PS2 will be officially dead as of March and no new games will be produced so I'm glad for the upgrade.  Its a win win situation since the kids wanted one and I have been looking for a Blue Ray player. My only complaint is that I hope more kid friendly games are released as I had a hard time picking games other than the Lego and Disney titles.

Im in favor of only classic villains in these films but some characters just dont transfer well to the big screen.  I hated the updated look of the Green Goblin and it did not remind me of the comic at all.  The Vulture or Rhino imo wouldnt transfer well either.  Doc Ock, Sandman and Venom all looked good visually, even though none of the films really captured the true comic.   There are only a few great villains left that I would love to see; Kraven, Lizard, Shocker and maybe Mysterio.

Looks like Spidey 4 could turn into a total crapfest and be the demise of the series.  Malkovitch as the Vulture and Anne Hathaway as the Vultress.  Those are the rumors.  Hit the link below. WTF?

Watto's Junk Yard / Video Game Trade In Advice?
« on: November 27, 2009, 02:33 PM »
Anyone know the best place to trade in Video Game Lots?  I have 100+ PS2 Games that I am looking at unloading.  Not looking for cash but would rather trade up for a new System or Games. Any help would be appreciated.  Does Gamestop by lots or do they only purchase games that they are currently looking for.  Thanks
