Great assortment there. It's been a long time for me since a new army builder has been released. I picked up a couple of TFA Stormtroopers, but I'll certainly not be putting in the dedication as I do toward my OT imperials.

Pretty interesting. As with all things, will be interested to see side by sides with their more functional counterparts.

The Striker could be a good alternative for me since I'll be buying more than a few.

I mean, appropriate for the occasion, but this type of release pushes the limits of collecting to collect.

I think these are all good choices, will definitely pick up another Royal Guard or two.

Price is going to keep me away for sure. Will be waiting for clearance.

I getting cautiously optimistic. Saw some more detailed pick over at RS and although the nerf tube isn't designed to be removed, it van be removed and/or adjusted with a philips head. It's much less an eye-sore after. It's really a shame, since the nerf assembly comes as a separate piece fixed to the bottom of the pod, too bad Hasbro couldn't have done what they did in the golden age (Legacy) and included an additional piece without the nerf launcher. The nerf holder attachments can be removed as well, but there's a shaft left behind.

That said, when I get one, if the modifications don't look too bad, I'll almost definitely pick up a several more.

This appears to be longer than the TIE Interceptor, so good scale.

I figured i'd be a tall order to do the troop carrier thing with this, but it's still bordering on impressive. At least the nerf feature is more discreet.

The Nerf thing is really ruining it for me. Especially because we know they can make them removable.

Finally found a fresh case of wave 4 black series, picked up the Phasma which completes my wants for everything released up to this point.

Found a fresh case of this wave yesterday myself! Must be another round/shipment.

I'm going to admit that I was a tad deflated when I saw the set. The saving grace however, is the excellent Astromech body used. For the record, in case it matters, I would not have been horribly upset if two of these were Astromechs we've already had but, with the updated bodies.

Thanks for the thanks!  ;) It's always a pleasure. It's funny, I took well over 500 photo's just for JD this year and definitely feels like I still haven't gotten enough. There's just so much to cover and the photographer in me wants to get every detail.

Are those the baby AT-ATs grown up as tweens?

Lol! Good analogy. While I'm bummed at the size, I gotta say, the walking feature alone is pretty nifty.

One of the more exciting announcements in forever! Can't wait.

In the unlikely chance they are all droids, I could handle them being based off the Sail Barge R2 body. Too bad that didn't stick.

Is there another Vizam or did you mean this guy?

Nope. My error. I don't know how I completely forgot about that most excellent resculpt. I will put Vedain in his place though.

Thanks guys!

Sounds ridiculous. I never heard of the guy either.

I clicked on the link, baited by the vague hope that this was more in regards to, in my opinion, a decline in quality in the line.
