Well, that little experience sure did suck!

After the site didn't allow me to log in at 8:00 I tried for about eight minutes then just gave up and went to the official site. The SDCC site had a link to the ticket site and I went right in but I was about the2700Th person in line. by the time I was able to get in to buy the tickets all but Thursday and Sunday were left, Then I tried to get my wife's and Thursday was sold out in the short time I was paying for mine.

Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / Darth Vader Unleashed lamp

So I got a few of the Unleashed Vader BB exclusive and Fett statues lying around and decided to give a friend a gift a few years ago. I went to Home Depot and purchased a lamp making kit. I then went to a local craft store and got some paint and a wood base, This is what it came out looking like. I'm in the proses of making a Fett with Sarlacc lamp.

My neighbor is selling some lights he has two sizes the one i have is the big one and the other is about half the size.Comes with a long cord and can be unplugged to fit in small holes in cabinets.

Vintage Kenner / Mexican Power of the force

I was looking at some of my carded figures and noticed that my carded POTF and two ROTJ 79 back Paploo figures were made in Mexico. All three are Kenner cards. Dose any one know how rare the Mexican POTF cards are?.

I cant seen to make up my mind about how to display my vintage carded figures. i need some help. right now i removed all of them from the wall. should i put them by movie, cardback movie, alliance"rebel,empire,hunter, or jabas denizens.i have also had them by character, all Luke's all Han's. should i separate the trilogos from the US cards if its the same figure.

The San Diego Star Wars society went to buttercup valley to visit the set location of the sarlacc pit on Sat 03/28/09. we have one member that was there during shooting and remembered exactly where is was at. we dug up lots of foam and boards that still have paint on them. some members even found parts of the tentacles. i have a few small noticeable pieces with paint if anyone wants them. one per person LMK.here are some pics

My local TRU has a exclusive Lego poster for under a dollar. these were selling for about $10.00 i believe. One side has the figure line up for 2008 and the other a scene of the monastery battle...

Has anyone heard of counterfit Lili Ledy carded figures. not the real bootleg ones but new vintage recarded or fake vintage figures. i was thinking of going to Mexico city and wanted to tell some relatives to be on the look out for some at the street markets just to get a head start.

legoland has been doing this for a couple of years. this is going to be my first time going now that my kids are old enough. they give you an exclusive Lego block at the door.
