30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30AC Wave 3 - Tatooine
« on: May 28, 2007, 04:10 AM »
Had a chance at all the new wave 3 stuff today (Northern Cali). All I bought was the McChewie and a Stormtrooper. I saw them at both Walmarts up here and Target.

I found the new wave last week at my Super Wal-Mart (Anderson, Ca). I had the Snowtrooper in my hand and put it back in favor of the too cute Hammerhead pack, and I couldn't pass up the Darth Maul with speeder bike. They will eventually make it out everywhere.

I am glad they had lamer chases again this time, as well as last time. The Yak Face is great, but not one I really need. I for one don't like the chases to be somewhat of a major character. I will not spend $100 plus on one little kubrick, just to much other stuff out there that is worth that kind of money. I wish they had used Ponda Boba as a regular figure, o well. The blue snag was a good choice because there was the regular version to get.

Anyways, I hope ther is one more easier chase, I was really hoping Amanaman would pop up as and easier to get chase. Overall except for the Gam Guard being one to a box, I think this has been the best set so far. Series 1 was really good, but I think this one out does it.

Anybody else have a favorite series??

Well I guess we can say good by to the Unleashed line........even I won't pay Targets $20 price tag for these and I collect them. I guess Hasbro really wants this line gone. The original $15 dollars was steep enough for these, normal people aren't going to pay that. It was fun while it lasted......clearence racks make way for Unleashed!!!!!

I guess it was the titanium figures I saw. I just assumed that since the were in a "round tube" that they were Unleashed. Nuts!

I would take that exact figure as an Unleashed, thats for sure!!

The Grievous is also another mystery. That last wave for ROTS was around FOREVER!!!  I am hoping with everything I've got that they put the new sculps back on the art cards. I don't even display my BB Vader because he takes to much room. I think the art cards were great. On the other hand it is nice to see them "put together" in the tubes with out actually opening them.

I kind of wonder how these will have an effect on secondary market values.  Is the paint done a little diferent as with the BB Vader or are they direct copies? I would image the only difference will be the date on the bottom.

Does any one know which new figs were at Comic Con? I saw a pic of R2 and I think yet another clone, are there any other pics out there?

Hey guys,
I put a huge lot of 31 figures and the first Toys R Us set up on ebay. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot afford every line and the kubs have to go. I will put the link up as soon as it ready to go.

Thanks -Josh-

Ebay seems to be getting out of hand lately. I just lost $145 in a non starwars related auction, and that was after I filed with paypal to get my money back. I have been totally staying away from buying SW on ebay, to many liars out there.

Mint condition C-10 Perfect!!!!........You finally get it and it looks like an hippo sat on it. That is the usuall for me. Sick of it.
