I work in brodacast television as an Editor.  I also work on feeds coming in from remote locations where we have news crews.

I piece the material together so that it makes sense to the viewer at home.  It can get kind of hectic, like during the war, but it's rewarding in that you're providing a service to the community.

The drinks at the Cheescake Factory are VERY good!  But it's still a little too early here in New Jersey for a little drinky-drinky.  And I've still got work to do.

Right now, I would normally opt for coffee.  But since I gave up caffeine, that's kind of pointless.  Think I might get a refreshing lemonade right now.

I bought one of the initial three.  And I may buy two more.  There would have to be something really good for me to buy any more than that.

I got one a couple of months ago, loose.  And for the unbelievable price of $4.  My jaw dropped when I saw the price, and I nearly ran to the register before the people at the comic shop figured out that their asking price was too low.

Power of the Force 2 / Re: Tatooine Skiff Luke figure...

There is a blast mark on the hand.  This version is quite similar to the Tatooine Complete Galaxy version, but there are some differences.  Most notably, the Luke that's packed with the Skiff has bendable knees.

The funny thing is there's still a third basic figure assortment that hasn't shipped yet.

I think Harrison Ford is at more public occassions where you might get him to sign.  Movie premieres, and things like that.  George Lucas, on the other hand, seems to be more secluded between his work at the Ranch in Northern California and filming in Australia.

Here's the original concept art for a Sith Lord in EPISODE II:

You can find that here:

As for the absence of the Clone Commander on that cardback, just wait.  Wait to see a carded sample where you can see the front of the card and the figures in the blister.  The cardback that surfaced may be an early version that needed correction, and may not be the production version.

That seems quite steep.  I only paid for my autograph coupons and my trip to Indianapolis for my Carrie Fisher autograph.

Hmmm, a favorite Floyd song?  I've got so many from all the varying albums.

"Echoes" from Meddle
"Time" from Dark Side Of The Moon
"Have A Cigar" from Wish You Were Here
"Hey You" from The Wall

I'm definitely a Floyd fan.  Saw them in Montreal in 1994.  It was amazing!

I really haven't listened to them that much in the past few years.  BUT, I am intrigued by the rumor that Roger Waters might be re-uniting with David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright to go on tour.  Methinks they need the money.  Perhaps they invested too much in the dotcoms, and need to make some money back?

It certainly does seem a little strange.  I've read in another forum that someone placed an order with Disney DelivEARS, and it went through.  Not so when I called.   Strange.  You guys might want to consider calling to see if you get a different response than I did.

Thanks for the answer, Vic.  I appreciate you coming to forums like this to share some info.

I guess that brings up one point of concern for most fan club members who can't attend these shows.  How does the Fan Club intend to market the Silver Boba Fett's after the summer convention season?  Will the Paizo site be offering this figure, or will it be available at the old Star Wars Fan Club Online Store?

REPUBLIC is definitely turning into a great title.  I think the art in the latest issue was some of the best I've seen.  EMPIRE has been pretty good, too.  The first 4 issues were excellent.  And INFINITIES is a great "what if" title.

As for some other things?

Jedi Council: Acts Of War available in trade paperback
The Hunt For Aurra Sing available in trade paperback

A nice frothy root beer, right now.  I am at work, after all.  :D
