If ya find a Sif Nab one for me!   ;D

The first Sif I find is mine.  But if I can score an extra I'll offer it up here.  The fact that the wave with Sif is showing up is encouraging though.

I'm more concerned with whether or not Heimdall will ever show anywhere.

I've seen a couple of the new Thors that ship in the same case as Sif.  They're kind of silly, truth be told.  "Cosmic armor"?  I also found some of the other newer figures like Hogun, Fandral and the light up Destroyer.

The should have given the generic pilot a goatee to help further separate him from Ric "Widow's Peak" Olie.  :P

Does John Knoll really need a figure?

These shots look pretty good.  It's a tremendous move forward from the original Ric Olie sculpt.

I haven't bought the complete saga yet.  Simply because I don't have a flatscreen or a Blu Ray player at this time.  So there's really no hurry.  Thanks to The You Tube I've been able to check out most, if not all, of the deleted scenes.  There's some pretty good stuff, too.  I haven't gotten a chance to see "The Lost Rebels" scenes yet, but no doubt that's going to pop up soon enough.  I also want to see the Droid Control Ship sequence from AOTC to see if there's anything that's changed from the AOTC DVD, but I haven't seen that yet either.

Has there been any official word on what those exclusives mentioned in their press release will be? I'm guessing they just made more of the SDCC stuff and are hesitant to say until the last possible moment.

Nothing I've seen.  And we're less than a month out from the show, so I think the chances of a Star Wars Hasbro exclusive might be on the slim side.  But it will be cool to see what's new from Hasbro while we're there.  I'm going on the weekend.

Major league good karma to Paul for putting the Death Star boxed set up for grabs.  It's an amazing way of giving back to the collecting community.

Color me idiotic - I guess I wasn't much paying attention to all of this, as I went and picked up just the OT BDs today at Target, expecting them to have the OT extra features, deleted scenes, etc. But it's just the movies. Which I assume everyone else in the world knew besides me. And of course I didn't figure this out until I popped it in the player and saw no options for extras other than commentaries.

Not sure if I want to shell out for everything PT related, as I frankly don't care about those movies much at all, but we'll see. I would like the deleted stuff for sure, despite the fact that I've seen a lot of it over the years online.

So yeah. Here's hoping Target takes back opened discs.

Dude, that SUCKS!  I think you may be SOL, because once any kind of media gets opened a majority of retailers will rarely take it as a return.

In that case we'll be waiting for months given the murky status of Wave 8.  Although we should find out something useful at NYCC.

Or the people who thought that hanging onto all of those Jedi Master points would lead to something worthwhile?  ;D

Only 3 REVENGE carded figures?  That's strange, especially since the whole REVENGE theme seemed to be a big deal with Hasbro at Comic Con.  Plus, I've been wondering if Hasbro was going to include that running change Endor Rebel from the Death Star pack in REVENGE case assortments at some point.

Was the Endor Rebel in your case?

True dat.  Starz tried to keep the Spartacus show going by doing a prequel season, hoping that Andy Whitfield would be able to recover in time for the third season.  But because his condition didn't improve the role of Spartacus was recast for the third season.

All that being said, 39 is far too young for anyone to pass on.  And Andy Whitfield was great on that show.

Glad to hear you found one within the city limits.  Collecting in Manhattan is rough.

Andy Whitfield, the star of Spartacus:  Blood & Sand has died at the age of 39 from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
