...based on the old toy line from the late 80's/early 90's? Having grown up with these, I would love to see them put out new modern sculpts of characters like Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, General Traag and the like. I'd be on board if it was done well. Anyone else?

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30AC Star Wars Comic Packs

Wave 4 is kind of meh to me. I'll probably pick up the Fel set, but the others don't interest me terribly. I think the Purge set could have been handled better myself, both outfits just look kind of goofy to me, especially Koffi Arana. I think Tsui Choi would have been a much better and more interesting choice for this set.

If I were going to get into Sideshows 12" line, this would probably be the first one I'd get. Looks fantastic.

Watto's Junk Yard / Batman - The Dark Knight

Man, i am so stoked to see this movie. It sounds like it's gonna rock. I wonder if they'll have the Scarecrow in it for a few minutes, maybe wrap up his story. They kind of left it open at the end of Begins, it would be cool if they brought him back for a bit, maybe just a quick cameo of him getting busted up by Bats in the beginning or something.

I usually give my oldies to my younger brother of 9 years. He lacks the finances to get his own so he's always thrilled to get my older figs as random gifts to add to his budding collection.

I think I've become addicted to these things, I'd only planned on picking up a single movie figure and that would be that, but now I've got five of the movie guys and think I may get more!  :P Really hoping to score a Concept Camaro Bumblebee but from the reports on this board, they seem pretty elusive.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: So whos liking all the EU stuff?
« on: August 3, 2007, 02:04 AM »
It's cool to see that a lot of people like a lot of the stuff, though i really must agree on the point of the Marvel Comics packs. These things are still clogging the pegs around here pretty bad and it really isn't terribly surprising. If I were a kid and I had a choice between a movie styled Chewbacca, or a weird, freaky clown Chewbacca, i would likely take the normal version, but hey, thats just me. Aside from those packs though, i think the comic packs are pretty freakin sweet overall. Can't wait to get my hands on that Mara Jade pack!

30th Anniversary Collection / So whos liking all the EU stuff?
« on: August 1, 2007, 04:28 AM »
I know theres a bit of animosity towards a lot of EU, but how many people are liking the amount of EU stuff we've seen? I'm really enjoying a lot of the figures that are coming, the new Mara Jade, Quinlan Vos, and the KOTOR Sith Lords, just to name a few. I find a lot of the characters to be quite visually interesting, and hope that the trend keeps up. I'd love to see more of the guys from KOTOR myself, at the very least an HK-47 and T3-M9 would be awesome. Anyone else happy with the EU stuff being released, or do you think they should stick to just the movies?

I wonder what the odds are of them including more cool large accessories is in 08. Even if they cut back, it'd be nice to see some nice diorama fodder continue to be released. Accurately scaled Cantina tables would be awesome.

Well, i was thinking the wolf man jedi was the only one from this wave I'd really be interested in getting but after seeing the Jango and Training clone I might have been swayed. I'm surprised how much I dig that Jango, Jesse James pretty well summed up my feelings on it, indeed a masterpiece, and it will flesh out my very very low human count among my prequel figures very nicely. Looking forward to it.

I never managed to snag the original Gree. What was so awful about it anyway?

A nice looking wave, with a little something for everyone by the look of it. Po Nudo shall satisfy my cravings for weird aliens. The 2-1B looks kinda neat too. Looking to be yet another good year.

The Legacy Collection / Re: New Evolution Sets
« on: July 29, 2007, 04:14 AM »
Darth Nihilius! Whoo! I must say, all three of these sets are very impressive and of everything shown, these are probably what i will be most looking forward to. Mandalore is a welcome addition as well, now I'll have someone to lead all those new Mandalorian warriors from that EE set.

The basic figures I'm not too keen on, but I don't have any of the beasts and wouldn't mind scoring those. If it's not too expensive then maybe.
