Found two McClamtroopers at TRU this morning.  Nice.

Nice score on the Pacman troopers

I picked up an extra UGH Mcstormtrooper at TRU a couple nights ago.

I read this topic post...and I have to admit wondering if this was Ice's first year or two of collecting SW toys.

Logistic shortfalls, no surprise really- happens annually but comes as a different problem type each year.

Not really much to complain of really from me. I'm tired of complaining about Hasbro's annual rerelease SW lines.. whether they are Legends, 'Lamest hits' whatever they call them- I'm just thankful they are not connected to the regular lines so I just don't even buy them.

I could see this as being especially difficult getting everything I wanted if I lived in a high populated area
where tons of rival collectors and scalpers reside, not to mention millions of parents that actually want to buy their kids toys. Thankfully, I don't live in such an area and I enlist help to get the things I need from other collectors and scalpers. By making the small effort to get help by reaching out to others I actually don't struggle. Besides, even if it ever became true that I could not get the toys I desired-it wouldn't be such a bad thing right- because at least I'd be saving some money :-\.

The new sculpts this year were better than any I'd seen ever, so I'd say the better quality toys way out-weighed my only complaint of the year- the Titanium line. I felt Hasbro really dropped the ball here by trying to bait me with 90% repaints in each wave- it's OK though because I saved lotsa cash by not buying the repaint crapola.

All in all for me a better year than most. This thread just seemed to be about alot of whining IMO.

I have some sandtroopers and BOSSK still at my local exchange store @ 7.99 (no tax) though  :-\.

I decided not to pick them up yet until I clear out the house a little more.  Not too exciting with them being just the repaints.

Don't you try using that "new father" excuse on me either.  Ain't gonna fly!  :-X

Yeah, no doubt :-X

Reminds me of how Hasbro called the 2006 Geonosis wave "Wave 2.5" on the cases instead of Wave 3 and it screwed up all the case/wave numbering last year... ::) ;)

Yeah, they're kind of special like that ;).
At least there's some cool,  well done figs in this wave.

Isn't this wave 8?

Maybe?  Depends on the way you want to look at it:

The way they were originally annnounced...
2007 Wave 7 - RotJ
2007 Wave 8 - Repaints
2007 Wave 9 - AotC

or

The way that retailers labeled them...
2007 Wave 7 - RotJ
2007 Wave 7.5 - Repaints
2007 Wave 8 - AotC

or

The way they are showing up in stores...
2007 Wave 7 - RotJ
2007 Wave 8 - AotC
2007 Wave 9 - Repaints

Take your pick!

I'm sticking with "Wave 9" based on my refusal to call a wave x.5 and the numbering of the figures in the wave.  ;)

I picked this wave up tonight at WM. The case calls it WAVE 8 = that's what I'm calling the wave. My money's on the repaint wave being called wave 9 on the case.  I love the wolf Jedi- he's awesome!!!

I managed to score all the wave 8 figs at Walmart tonight for 5.88 each.
Also found x1 imp officer w/ brown hair
x1 titanium series trade federation droid control ship.

--frustratingly....I've yet to find wave 7. = I'm not caught up >:( ::)

interesting take on that-I'll provide the opposite viewpoint.

I didn't necessarily see her try to copy his ability and fail at it either.
Have they shown her doing her eye thing at every single thing going on? no.

With that in mind it's hard for me to believe she can't do those supernatural things yet until she has actually tried and failed at them.

So, I still wonder if it's possible with her.

Sorry guys...I disagree!

I was really dissapointed in last nights' episode.

Why do I feel the producers change the story as they go along? I swear they listen to fans' comms on the net and change up their story to try and 'surprise' folks. At some point though, you have to deliver a believable storyline which IMO the show is failing to do right now. So then what your left with is cleaning up a huge mess of too many subplots you've created over the year to create a climatic ending- which I fear in this case, will be not so climatic. I'm trying to not get too excited in this show anymore this year so the ending will possibly impress me...it's difficult.... the way the shows heading I may not make it to the end.

I tire of the comic book-on line photo novel story filler fodder here too. There's really little correlation to the on line show. See that? I said little- meaning insignificant.

My thoughts

Hiro's betrayal, dumb- why not kill the guy off like everyone else this year(not that I want to see Hiro dead
but, it seems to be the show pattern annually..kill off prior season members to make
room for new cast next year)
HRG's murderous intent- overrated, we already knew he was more than capable of this- a big nothing waste
show air time for this segment...all this to somehow intro this lame Ukranian's
daughter? Is she the lightning girl =  -dumb, who cares
Sylar's whiny powerless- Anyone else tired of this? what did it take, 3-4 episodes to enter the US? Oh,
Sylar will kill them when he has his power? Yeah, duh. Just when will that be-I'm
wondering when that will be-his powerless condition is a story element that needs
to speed up, if they wanted to bring him back in this episode, then this wasn't the
way, lemme guess...just when we get bored of his whiny condition he gets all his
powers back just in time for the final Episode so he can have a big battle again ::)
Peter's new hitchhiker- I really dislike the new sandbag tagalong girfriend, look if she has no power then
kill her off the show already(mistaken sub character development)
Suresh can't do it.......- I told my son before the show came back from commercial that mohinder will not
give the girl a shot- he's the same guy-An A, thanks for the no-change heroestaff.
..but, right back to a D for intoducing yet another subplot with Nikki as the partner
and the 'new' characters' name here
Micah,Matt,Peter's bro - not explored..yeah, imagine- like last year we get to start going back and forth
between episodes covering storylines and characters (because there's too many)
so that we can pull them all together for a messy, not-so-climatic ending(I really
                                  want to be wrong though)
Cheerleader saga        - I actually enjoyed this segment of last nights' show.

I want to know more about the new rogue mimic girl.
I wonder if she only has to see it to do it...then is there a limit to what she can do?
So she could stop time, cast fireballs, lightning..use telechenetic ability ect if she sees it?
With the way the show seems to be casting out characters....then does Peter get knocked off next and mimic girl becomes the next Peter?

I think the real bad guy is gonna end up being Kensei. That would make a lot of sense. The symbols in her drawings, the fact that there wasn't a scratch on the killer after he jumped off the roof with Sulu, it all points to him in my opinion.

I mentioned that earlier too. Though I think they're are 3 new bad guys...

Sylar
?Kensei?
Nightmare man

I think this 'nightmare' man has an ability that he can appear to folks in their meditations and dreams as a real entity..though he really isn't there..a sort of 'sandman' if you will. Hard to tell if the bad guy Molly sees is Kensei or this new Nightmare guy.

I think this other unknown nightmare/sandman guy attacked Peters' mom in the cell- through a dream, he could have attacked Hiro's father by jumping off the balcony with him(He wouldn't really die since he's not really there-just a dream form)- I think he tries to enter Molly's mind too-he knows she can find him.

I think it's possible the nightmare man will be long gone and Parkman will find his dead father after the nightmare man was there and killed him.

Interestingly enough though it appears as if Peter could become a new bad guy in the preview. I really don't like the flood of new heroes into the show. I fully expect to see many of last seasons' Heroes killed off to make way for the newly introduced ones--which(I better like them or this show is gonna tank quick for me).

Seems right now that some areas are progressing too slowly for me while others are progressing too quickly. Luckily, I still have interest..but it's beginning to wane.

It's no longer cancelled

Hasbro hinted to me at SDCC that the line would be returning this fall.

EE reopened many of their Titanium figures for order...including the Jango Fett(they used to have a cancelled status).

I'm fully expecting these to start showing again. I think this time around though, the quantities will be far more limited compared with when they were first released as a line. I'm wondering if they will be limited to etailers only.
