We are all collectors. We all have our own styles of collecting. We have, over the years, become friends. Many times, if we disagree with each other, we keep our mouths shut because that is what a polite and considerate person does.
For some reason, you have taken on Force Guy, who has been coming here since 2003, and has over 1100 posts.
This thread, and your attitude, is just a drag. Who knows, maybe you're 15. I don't know. Just lighten up, and be friendly. Life is too short to spend it picking fights.
That is good advice. I agree with being polite and considerate - and that life is too short to be spent picking fights. But I don't believe that the fact that someone has been here longer or their post count is higher excuses rudeness either.

I was just out of High School when she first went into space. I remember the media coverage surrounder her shuttle flight. She was truly an inspiration to me as a young woman. R.I.P. Sally Ride.

« on: July 20, 2012, 12:11 PM »FINALLY got Comcast hooked up and now have access to AMC! Does anyone know if they reply Walking Dead episodes? I missed all of Season 2 and want to get caught up. I know they had a marathon a few weeks back - anyone know if they have another on the way? I thought someone said Comcast had this On Demand as well, but I don't see it under TV series.
not really sure, but I would hope AMC at least runs another marathon in Oct before season 3 starts Oct 24. Season 1 dvd is out now and season 2 comes out in early/mid Oct as well.
Season 2 DVD is set to release August 28th. If AMC sticks to their usual patterns with their other series, they should run a marathon before Season 3 starts back up.

I'd be careful about that if I were you. Though the idea of it wandering around mindlessly with the sole purpose of it finding one thing rings true - I don't know that you would want to compare "your zombie" to something that walks around limp with its head drooping to the side all of the time

FYI - I just found Season 1 at Redbox. Got it home and thought it only had the last two episodes - turns out it is a double-sided disc 
AMC is doing a marathon of Seasons 1 and 2 with a preview of Season 3 July 7-8th. Would love to catch the first 1/2 of Season 2 again.

Scored 4th row center for the Fresh Beat Band in October - whoo hoo - rock on!! Bought the party package for my 7 year-old. Backstage pre-show dance party and meet and greet with the band and a bunch of freebies. Her head is going to explode! (Mine probably will too after about the 3rd song) Those tickets were harder to score than for any other show I have been to. I have to drive all the way to Ashville from Charlotte because everywhere else sold out in minutes.

Hard to take Adrian Brody seriously at all since he has been doing razor commercials. He has some of the dumbest facial hair I have ever seen - no way does he come close to pulling it off - he looks like a character in a Comic Book movie. Or a total tool.

Actually, they are a serious hallucinagen. I recently watched an episode of Intervention on A&E where the man was addicted to bath salts - it was the first time I had ever heard of it.

I remember when I went to Texas to see Shannon and I was there when she died. I was all alone in her father's house and he called me the next morning to talk about Shannon and to see how I was. For all the kidding around we did on the boards - it meant so much to me to have him call and help me out that awful morning.
