Now wicket's coming out Im thinking that medicom will definately release the last chase Bobba now. I'm sure that's him at the end of the bookcase...   looks different to the others.  guess time will tell

lukes in the lead if you count the luke/vader chase.

got my toys r us set yesterday, the wife wont let me open it until christmas day!. , seem to have regained that lacking  tingle too! happy nostalgic christmas!

I'm glad someone at the WCC was smart enough to realize that would be a tad unfair.   

did they stop him?  they really need to enforce a 1 visitor 1 toy rule at these shows.... seems that you can only buy one at a time, but line up as many time as you want.  I hope to pick something up at wonderfestival06, but with the dealers its difficult.   

snag prices are dropping on yahoo auctions, last 3 auctions finished at less than 7500yen.   the last walrusman finished at 13000yen!!!!!  glad I got mine cheap and early.

Alot of people here are general star wars collectors arent they? when lines of 'rare'  toys finish do prices generally stay high or drop? I still think prices are artificially high, but I want those chase figures.

ive been really lucky with these chases...

picked up walrusman for 50 dollars at an online store, then today went to akihabara looking for the other 2 chases....

something weird happened . the shop had a box of open lukes, gunneres etc, so I figured he'd searched through and taken out the chases. So I ask him if he has them and he said "NO". I asked him if he had found them and he asked me how much Id pay for one . before I had a chance to reply he blurted out "2000yen!". then he picks up a cases and starts opening all the gunners in front of me! he says thats where they are! he opened them al!!! and then apologised for not having one. I suggested we start on the snaggies next, worked our way through them then started on the Lukes.  Bingo! han solo in trench coat! he says "2000yen again, but I find the second han. realising they werent as rare as he thought he suddenly drops the price to 1000yen!  of course I took them both.

it turns out he found the walrusman earlier and had flogged it for the 2000yen.

I now know the joys of ripping my way through 3 boxes of a master case, and didnt have to pay a penny until I found the chases!

Christ, I hope he really was the shopkeeper....

Anyway,  thats my quota of luck for the month used up!

jeff, that walrusman is a damn fine figure. you must be very proud. Im going to trawl the shops in tokyo for one on friday, time permitting.
