Here are some pics of the Toy Fair display.

And to show how bad I feel for being a part of letting our great members down, I'm resigning my staff position here at JD.

Okay, I know I'm not especially active in the forums here so my opinion probably means little, but how many others think this is not right?

So the TF coverage fell apart.  Does that make you any less of a leader for these forums?

I think not.

Ian

I agree Ian. Jesse has been an excellent staff member here, and I don't think that he should leave based on this solely alone. If there are other factors behind his resignation, thats fine, but I think that the site shouldn't lose a great staff member because of the Toy Fair coverage, or lack there of.

Lots of good stuff shown.  I'm not too keen on buying figs I already have or don't want to get things I do want (WM Thor and AoA figs, Cap for Baron von Strucker, Hulk for Leader, etc.), but I can deal with it and will try to get rid of them or find people who just want the figures and not necessarily the BAF parts.

I agree. I'm just going to end up giving the figures I don't want to my little brothers.

I'm glad that Hydro-Man has the detachable legs; I could almost guarantee he would.

Overall, these new figures are getting me very excited. I'm going to get 99% of the Legends, the villians in the FF line, and a few other figures here and there in the X-Men and Spider-Man lines (I collect one of each character, unless I need it for a BAF).

Bad parenting.

But I still laughed at the kid's reaction, all but guaranteeing a spot for me in Hell.

It was sort of funny how the kid beat the computer screen, but that dad is an ******* for uploading that to the net.

Its funny you guys mention that,  because a friend told me that the Florida threads turned to **** because of people blatantly scalping too. I guess those sections are just unmodded. I wouldn't really know though, since Scum still hasn't put in an Indiana section  :P

Have you guys seen the Boom Goes the Dynamite video? Its a video where this student sportscaster named Brian Collins tries doing a sportscast of a basketball game, but totally butchers the whole thing because he is so afraid. Well, here's the video

He's been on Letterman and was on VH1's top 20 internet video clips. That Brian Collins guy goes to my school and is in my hall right now.

Red Skull = lame  ::)

That Hulk isn't too bad IMHO. The Captain America and Kingpin look well done. The Leader looks ok, but I suppose its hard to make an amazing action figure based on a skinny guy in a suit with a big head. Daredevil looks a bit off to me; his boots and gloves don't look that great IMHO, but that may just be on the prototype and not the finished product.

It does say "Goodbye" and has the sad face, but you make the call:

Goodbye Palisades

Well, there is a death of Palisades thread on Scum too...
