Hasbro finally put together a great wave!!! And I thought this years Coruscant wave was good. Well, here's my thoughts on the figures in this wave, even though ya'll most likely don't care:

Airborne Commando: I really like this guy. The removable pouch is a very nice touch. I don't like how he has the older style Clone Trooper rifle, while the Galactic Marine has the Evolution Set rifle.

Concept Storm Trooper: I really want to pick up at least two of these guys. I saw the original once in a Target, but this guy blows the old one out of the water. I really hope that he's not short packed.

Super Battle Droid: Wow. That was a surprise. This is a great looking figure. I'm definitely getting two to go with R2, but maybe another 20 if the flames are removable. Now all we need is a Battle Droid similar to that.

Mace Windu: He looks pretty well detailed. I like the lightning on his lightsaber, and I'm so glad Hasbro gave him a soft goods cloak. Hopefully his articulation is similar to that of Pilot Obi-Wan Kenobi, or at least Evolutions Anakin.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Now i won't feel bad about buying a repack. I like the breating apparatus and the new electro-pole, and I'm glad that his mouth is not too big. He may go great with the Demise of Grievous figure. The picture on his card is pretty sweet, as well.

Galactic Marine: An excellent figure, I'll say. Perhaps the best of this wave. I really think that the Super Articulation and Removable Back Pack are nice touches. I have the same issue with the rifle as the Airborne Commando, though.

R2-D2: A cool figure that will look nice next to two of those Super Battle Droids. I like the rocket jets better than those on the Revenge of the Sith R2.The paint job on this new one is kind of funky looking, in my opinion.

Lava Miner: Why couldn't the Mustafar Sentry be this good? Oh well, they'll go nice together. I hope the lave bucket can come off of the grabbing tool. That would be cool.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 6 More EU 2-Packs

I can't really think of too many sets that I'd like to see from Republic, Empire, or any other series, but here are quite a few from Clone Wars.

Star Wars Republic:
Star Corps Trooper vs. Morgukai Warrior (Siege of Saleucami Story Arc)

Clone Wars Adventures
Mace Windu and Battle Droid and half of Ultra Battle Droid (Volume 1: Heavy Metal Jedi)
Saesee Tiin and Clone Trooper and other half of Ultra Battle Droid (Volume 1: Heavy Metal Jedi)

Wookiee Warrior  and Flamethrower Trooper (Volume 4:Descent)
Clone Commando Leader and Yellow ARC Trooper (Volume 4: Descent)

SA ARC Trooper and Viidaav Soldier (Volume 5: Heroes on Both Sides)
Clone Trooper Commander and Clone Trooper (Volume 5: The Order of Outcasts)
Joc Sah and Sergeant Remy (Volume 5: The Order of Outcasts)
Jedi Master Sev and Ragmar V Resistance Leader (Volume 5: The Order of Outcasts)

I really would like to post pictures, but I don't have a scanner, nor do I have the time to search for them. Sorry.

I'm definitely passing on these. I really hope that any future comic sets aren't this disappointing. If the characters were in normal, movie-like colors, I would buy one of each of these three sets. But, I think I'll just save up for a Kir Kanos/Carnor Jax figure set instead.

Wow... so many Storm Troopers. I must say, your army is very impressive. I really like your Hoth Biker Scout and Imperial Officer/Antilles customs. Overall, that's a great setup.

Okay, I'm just offering a suggestion here, no pictures or anything.

I was experimenting with parts of my 500 Edition Darth Vader and my Evolutions Darth Vader, and I had an idea. I popped off the right hand of my Evolutions Darth Vader, and tried to pop on the right hand from the 500 Edition Darth Vader (The hand meant for holding a lightsaber.)so my Evolutions Darth Vader could hold a lightsaber in his right hand. The hole in the 500 Edition Darth Vader right hand is to small for the peg on the Evolutions Darth Vader arm.

I wanted to let all of you customizers know that if you either trim down the peg on the Evolutions Darth Vader right arm, or make the hole bigger in the 500 Edition Darth Vader right hand, you could probably give the Evolutions Darth Vader a right hand capable of holding a lightsaber. I hope this helps some of you guys out.
